Played keyboards for 25 years in local bands and cabaret clubs. Managed a band in the 90's and have had much experience in recording studios. I'm now enjoying writing and producing my own music.

PEPPERJAM play a very live & dancey blend of ROOTSY SOUL SKA based around the lyrics of songwriter Lorry Dowling, (who’s acclaimed ‘Loosen Up’ reached the top of the UK indie chart). The set which the band arrange, produce and perform is entirely original material.

Signed to Distilled Records in 2009 (a label committed to grass roots song writing and performance) they released their first album ‘Taxi to Whitby’ in 2010 to strong critical acclaim, and release their second album in March 2013.

Much hyperbole is written about artists in the entertainment industry, but PEPPERJAM are the real deal, as testified by their past histories -  THE UKRAINIANS, LITTLE CHIEF, ARCOMNIA and LAUREL AITKEN, to name a few - and also by their growing army of fans... this is a band that gets people to their feet.
