Time flies and good music is forever! One of the masterpieces of our mighty Peppermint Jam catalogue is the album of Ferry Ultra. Vibe controller, Funk brother and amazing DJ Ferry Ultra managed to gather an amazing cast of artists for his legendary album debut such as Gwen McCrae, Roy Ayers, Kurtis Blow, Melva Houston (also known for her work on tracks with Isaac Hayes, Wilson Pickett, Otis Redding etc), Nicole Russo ( Brand New Heavies ), Ann Sexton ( You´re gonna miss me ), Karl Denson ( The Rolling Stones, Lenny Kravitz ), Byron Stingily, Ron Carroll, Ashley Slater ( Freak Power ), Sharon Philips ( Maybe in May ) and Juliet Edwards. To celebrate the 10th anniversary of this beauty in style we want to do something special. We enlisted an extraordinary cast of producers to re-vibe their fave songs: Folamour, Emmaculate, Young Pulse, Never Dull, Ezel, Felipe Gordon and many more…. We will drop a track every 6 weeks in 2023 to appreciate the funk & soul and we are working on a dope vinyl release too! Keep your ears peeled, dopeness is on the way….

When Kassko first wrote the melody for Good Things Take Time, something about it felt deeply true but it sat on the shelf for a while. It wasn’t until close friends pushed him to finish it that the track found its voice. The result is a warm, heartfelt groove rooted in the lesson that not everything needs to happen fast – some things need space to grow.

The second track Falling For You was crafted with Osman Meyredi and vocalist Stephanie Laurence. It tells the story of a looping relationship – hope, heartbreak, and the strength it takes to finally let go.
