Västerbron is a noisy part-time pop outfit with punk in their veins formed in Stockholm. They write, record and perform their swedish songs with southern accent on a regular basis but then return to their ordinary lives to get the boredom and perspective it takes to write, record and perform song about everyday life and the questions and answers that comes with it. 

The band released their debut album on September 3rd - Idiotologi. A musical manifesto for people who do not know better, for those in power who understand everything worse and for idiots who doesn't want to be bothered with idiots anymore. The album was recorded live in Studio Motion, Malmö with producer Tommy Tift (Vånna Inget). You clearly hear the roots of punk on Idiotologi, almost all the way into At the Drive-Ins softer and un chaotic passages.

The album received favourable reviews from PSL.se, NRK P3, Sydsvenskan, and GAFFA. The band has also recently been nominated for ”Best Breaking Act” and ”Best Rock” in 2015’s Swedish GAFFA awards.
