This time it's an album from Berlin-based Vertical67 called 'A Voyage Beyond', and it's very much in the spirit of classic "Berliner Schule" music but with a totally fresh and contemporary approach to the legendary Kosmische sound of that city in the 1970s - if the Zodiak Free Arts Lab was still open, this is what it would sound like. Deep textured soundscapes and melancholic cosmic vistas are hallmarks of this epic and haunting modern-day masterpiece. Forget Shoegaze, this is "Stargaze"! The record comes pressed on beautiful transparent "electric blue" vinyl, with full-colour sleeve, black inner sleeves and a bonus space insert (12"x12"). Vinyl is limited edition to 100 copies, but the digital is like space, endless and infinite.
