'Rising Spanish star Daniel Orpi launches his new label ‘Diggin’’ Records’ and unleashes its first release "Blow Up" EP which features the talents of Andy Martinez and Caliber  Known for his stylish and credible releases across some of the scene's most influential labels, Daniel Orpi has garnered support from heavyweights in the industry such as Pete Tong, Danny Howard, The Martinez Brothers, and Marco Carola. His latest release "Blow Up" continues to build on this momentum and sets the stage for the launch of Diggin’ Records.  For the label's debut release, Daniel Orpi has teamed up with Miami-based artist Andy Martinez, whose work has been supported by the likes of wAFF and Dennis Cruz. The EP's lead track "Blow Up" is a gritty and raw tech house offering, featuring Hip Hop & RnB infused styled vocals of Caliber. The track is a perfect example of the high-quality productions that can be expected from Diggin’ Records.  In addition to "Blow Up", the EP also includes "Redlights", a rolling and groovy track with a sensuous vocal that is sure to be a dancefloor favorite.  Daniel Orpi and Andy Martinez are both known for their dedication to the art of DJing and production, and their collaboration on "Blow Up" is a testament to their shared passion for quality music. Diggin’ Records is sure to be a label to watch in the coming months, with exciting new releases from Orpi himself and both established and up-and-coming artists.'

Spanish DJ and producer, Daniel Orpi, is the next newcomer to join the NEM fam with his brand new, ‘High Vibrations’ EP. Making waves all the way from Barcelona, Daniel Orpi is a welcome addition to the modern dance scene.

Based in London, Daniel has dived headfirst into the underground music space, emerging with unique mixes and sounds that have impressed music legends including label boss, Danny Howard. Since 2016, Orpi and his music creation has been non-stop.

Early shows at some of London’s hottest venues such as Fabric and Village Underground saw Orpi mixing alongside the likes of Darius Syrossian, Richy Ahmed and Steve Lawler. After the release of his debut EP with Jesse Perez’s Mr. Nice Guy Records in 2018, Daniel has received positive support from experts in the field and has since signed deals with respected labels including Saved Records, Kaluki Musik, Do Not Sleep, Cuttin’ Headz, Edible and elrow. The ‘High Vibrations’ EP brings that summer feel-good vibe, offering two essential cuts packed with crisp and energetic percussion, laid back house drums, infectious basslines, warming brass melodies, soulful chords and delicate vocals, ensuring that this release is going to be a summer smash!

Breakout house star Daniel Orpi makes his Moon Harbour debut with the fantastically fiery Muevete EP this autumn. Up first is the brilliant 'Muevete', an instantly infectious cut with tightly stacked kicks and low-slung bass that sweeps up the dance floor. Smart vocals and busy percussion add extra dynamism to the drums and the whole cut has s subtle Spanish flavour that really brings the fire. 'Verdades En Panama' is another unique and characterful cut with plenty of South American charm, punchy drum funk and atmospheric crowd noises all run through with fresh synth details and pinging kicks that make you move.

The artist behind the brand new elrow music release is an italian electronic music legend, Deeperfect's owner, a producer whom has released on labels like Terminal M, Toolroom or Skint, a Dj whom has played in best clubs in the world. The one and only Stefano Noferini.

'Permission' is a piece of modern tech-house with a 303 bassline and a oldschool rap vocal sample. The perfect Dj tool that works either in big rooms and cool dancefloors. For the remix, the Solid Grooves usual suspect Bassel Darwish delivered a mint remix keeping the essence of the track but bringing the track into his own territory: fat and raw, hypnotic and elegant.

When we first heard these tunes, we instantly fell in love with the big rolling sub lines, the swung out percs, and the dizzying synth leads.

The next release on Libero comes from highly-regarded duo Murphy’s Law, as they make their way back to the label with an EP of their own following a largely successful remix earlier this year. Joining the Leicestershire tag-team on their ‘Feel Alright’ EP is the ever-popular Joseph Edmund, who features on remix duties.

Opening the release, the title track fuses an intriguing mixture of signature rolling Libero Sound with a late-night house tip. Essentially a terrace groover, but with added layers of sophistication and character - not to mention a subtle hint of acid-influence. The Murphy’s Law brothers have a rippling percussive presence to a lot of their productions, which in this case allows the uptempo bassline to ricochet off it - creating roaring low-end energy from start to finish.

Following up with an impressive readaptation, Joseph Edmund’s remix of ‘Feel Alright’ takes a more stripped-back and minimalist approach. Seemingly gliding along from start to finish, the track finds itself in the progressively building category. Another percussive-centric terrace style track with bags of undulating momentum to add to the Libero collection, built on a bed of cleverly mixed layers and interesting hardware additions. Exactly what we have come to expect from one of Manchester’s most talented artists - creativity in abundance.

Closing the release, ‘Back Up’ dives a little deeper. Focusing predominantly on the melodic end of the spectrum, the track has an essentially tribal feel to it. Scaling up through the energy levels in each section of the track, it’s as creative as it is movement-inspiring. Quirky and creative at its core, it offers an attention-grabbing curveball for any hour of the party.

After releasing Louie Vega & The Martinez Brothers ‘Let It Go’ earlier this year, Defected now deliver a package of new mixes to continue the longevity of this irresistible summertime jam. The original record, a homage to NYC’s rich Latin American dance culture, was as slick, soulful and groove-filled as expected from two generations of the city’s finest, unsurprisingly catching the attention of house sensation Honey Dijon, who provides a remix on the package. A flawless example of her Berlin meets NYC style, Honey’s contribution has a clubbier feel, as short bursts of Marc E. Bassy’s vocal flicker over rippling synths and a driving bassline. This package also features the previously unreleased TMBLV Vox Dub, a new mix that blends elements of the original and the dub, maintaining the vocal to a more stripped-back effect, with the Latin-infused instrumentals and addictive bassline still in full play.
