#Nirvana being my favorite band of all time, and this particular song being the first I ever learned to play on #drums back when I was but a wee human.

In 20 years of practicing music and attempting to make these #remixes, I have never wanted to do Nirvana out of respect for #music that cannot be improved. However, I came across some guys playing it on #Cellos, and decided that would be appropriate.

Kriz was born into a musical family where he developed an early passion for music. His father, an electronic engineer, built him a synthesizer and a DJ mixer when he was 8 and 13 years old respectively. These devices became his tools for learning music synthesis and sound design, skills that he has honed for over 30 years. He produces music under the alias ---Ӝ LIVING THEORY Ӝ ---and performs as☼ K-R-I-Z-Z-O-L-O-G-Y ☼.

Kriz has been part of the electronic dance music scene in South Africa since its underground beginnings. He has played at various clubs and raves, sharing the stage with many other DJs. However, he does not measure his success by his venues or collaborators, but by his ability to create a journey for the dancers on the floor. He says: "It has always been about the journey". His sets are characterized by smooth transitions, groovy melodies and tight beats that build up to a sonic climax. Besides being a career airline pilot, Kriz also draws parallels between flying and making music. He says that both require respect for the art and subtle movements that can change the direction or mood.

Kriz's motto as a producer and performer is to find the space between the music and use it to manipulate the groove. He says: "If I can get myself into that space, then I have achieved much, because it is there that I can make the dancers move as one with my pace".
