Karen Turley is a Singer-Songwriter from Omagh in Northern Ireland, living in Liverpool.
She started playing the guitar at the age of 15 and has always had a passion for music, particularly American Folk and Country. 
Karen began regularly writing her own music in 2008 when she moved to Liverpool for university. She recorded her own songs and covers from her bedroom and was lucky enough to have Gerry Anderson from BBC Radio Ulster play her cover of Bob Dylan's 'Boots of Spanish Leather' in 2009.
Continuing to write and play in Omagh, she formed 'The Jesse Janes' in 2012 with two friends. An all female Bluegrass and Folk trio, most recently amalgamating with another band from Omagh to form 'When Johnny Met Jane'.

Karen is breaking out on her own to write and record her own material and has recently had her original songs 'Little Old Me' and 'Dreamer' played on BBC Introducing on BBC Radio Merseyside, later appearing for a few live sessions.
She also travelled to Nashville in March 2015 after winning a Songwriting Competition in Liverpool. She was lucky enough to perform in The Bluebird Cafe during her week of songwriting activities. She then was a performer at 'The Bluebird at The Bluecoat' in Liverpool in August 2015 with special guests from Nashville taking part and 'Bob Harris' hosting. 
She released her new EP 'Like We Used To' on 31st March 2017, available on Itunes and recently released a new single 'New Strings' on 20th April, available on all digital platforms.

Forgetting Midnight was started by Manny Gonzalez, formally of Unlabeled Theory, in the spring of 2009. The band immediately shot off into the New York music scene having a successful 6 months playing 2-3 shows a week including Coney Islands Siren Festival. 

In the Fall of 2009 Manny brought on former bassist of Unlabeled Theory, Vinny Celentano, to take over as rhythm guitarist in his place. By the late spring of 2010 the band would split leaving Manny and Vinny as sole members of the band. 

Instead of calling it quits Manny and Vinny went on the search to rebuild the band. They would be Joined by Anthony Garcia on bass and Demian Fernadez on drums, both former members of I-Crisis and Unlabeled Theory. They immediately hit the studio and in the summer of 2010 they would successfully play the Starland Ballroom twice as well as many other great venues. In December of 2010 they would join up with producer, Jerry Farley, to begin production on their first full length album, A Place For All Our Broken Pieces. 

With the release of their first album on May 28, 2011 and their upcoming 2011 summer tour it can't be stressed enough that this is a band about music first and foremost. There is nothing more important then having fun and playing the music that they love. Whether they are screaming their lungs out or harmonizing a melody, the single desire is to deliver pure, undeniable music that stands out on its own in a sea of fabrications.

Providing thought-provoking and positive lyrics driven by an ironclad element of Christian faith, this exciting new artist delivers a brand of rap which is truly his own.
