AKARI SYSTEM is On The Way To Ozora 2023. AKARI SYSTEM, also known as AKASYS, is a collaborative Techno project created by RINKADINK and AIRI. Based in Japan and producing together since 2020, RINKADINK is Werner van Jaarsveld, a producer and DJ born from South Africa. Having started DJing in his early teens, he moved to London in 2000. With his advanced technical skills and unique sound, he has released numerous tracks, performed as a headliner at many festivals and clubs and has been active in Psychedelic Trance for the past 20 years. AIRI is Felix Ando, born in Switzerland from a Swiss father and a Japanese mother. As a child he was educated as a violinist in Germany. He has been active as an electronic musician since 2004 and has played in many festivals with his enveloping sound that features a warm soundscape, thick bass, and smart composition. Did someone say Hammahalle?

This was definitely one of the most surprising booking requests I’ve ever received, when the call came last week asking if I’d like to play in the Hammahalle at Sisyphos.
Sisyphos has long been one of my favorite clubs, especially on Sunday afternoons during the summer months – always worth a visit.

Our last performance there was over 12 years ago – a techno live set as Jerando & Gomez. It was an absolute highlight to be part of the first "Psy Nacht" with a set.

Rarely have I felt so much anticipation and excitement before a gig. A huge thank you for this special moment – it was simply incredible!

The highlight of my 2019 was the surprise closing set of Ozora Festival (wasn't surprise for me, obviously). Playing the last set on a Festival of this scale, after so many people have been dancing and bonding for a week, is very special responsibility. It's like guiding a release from a week of alternative reality, a final cleanse / meditation and a slowdown from the full on into the more mellow, which is a bit melancholic because it is the end, but it's also a hopeful and special moment for taking what we've acquired from that amazing week to our daily life and implementing that feel of unity and goodness that we have experienced with the real world, that needs this energy. Enjoy!

Finally, here we are, with the updated and mastered version of one of my iconic tracks of all my time here as Egomorph: The Wolfman track, done years ago starting as remix of the movie's ost by Danny Elfman.

The track goes in pairs with another one more recent, different but massive!!

The second track of the EP is an experiment remix/rework did one year ago starting by sampling a track of Huun Huur Tu, played only live for my sets. Now I decided to release it in the same way of the wolfman. Completely different vibes but same process behind it :)

The Other Side (Original Mix)

Perfect Stranger is the stage name for California-based, Israeli electronic musician Yuli Fershtat. The Perfect Stranger project was created in February 2005 and within 2 years of its debut became critically acclaimed all over the globe. Perfect Stranger ultimately created his own sub-genre in the psychedelic scene by presenting a totally distinctive sound characterized by groovy playful beats and patiently built compositions that often bridge between progressive trance and techno with a presence of tribal and psychedelic elements.

Perfect Stranger has released 3 full artist albums, 3 remix albums, 3 compilations and appears on well over a hundred other releases (compilations, EPs, albums, etc.). He also owns & runs the “Digital Structures” label, where he publishes more tech-orientated sounds under the Yuli Fershtat moniker.
