The purpose of this compilation series is two fold: First off, we're always very excited to bring you new music from talented artists and Petroleum Volume 3 is no exception! Secondly, we're continuing on with our new adventure, the forthcoming Perfect Driver Tour Bus!

What is the Perfect Driver Tour Bus? 

We would like to be the first independent dance music record label to take our show on the road. Literally. With help from supporters, label-head Matthew Anthony will be customizing a Sprinter Van to pick up artists in one city to play shows in the next while remote operating the label in an ongoing Perfect Driver tour. Our goal is to give Perfect Driver artists and fans a one of a kind experience. A #VanLife styled road trip where the DJ plays shows in big cities, small towns and everywhere in between, all while producing music in a mobile recording studio. Picture the Perfect Driver high-top Sprinter Van at a local art show or skate park with artists performing from the back. Or our #DJsAndCooking web-series broadcasting live from festivals. Imagine pit stops in National Parks while documenting artist & industry conversations on YouTube or Patreon for subscribers. Our plan includes playing quarterly shows in major markets.

If you're a Perfect Driver artist, we want to bring you on the road. If you're a show promoter or venue, we want to talk about working together. If you're in the media, we want you to help us get the word out. If you're a dance music fan or in the industry, we're asking for donations and partnering with sponsors. As we strive to meet our goal by fall 2019, we'll be happy to hook you up with goodies in return.

DJ Roger (Digital Bionics) came to live in Australia in 2011 from England where he started DJing in 1994 in Glastonbury town, Bristol
and around the fields and forests of Somerset.

After being a part of the early rave scene in London, he left for the countryside of Somerset and settled in Glastonbury town in 1992.

He's mixed in a lot of tents and cafes in Glastonbury festival year after year, bars and clubs in Bristol along with lots of private parties, heavily 
influenced by what he describes as extraterrestrial Techno and other creative dance genres, that have a spacey and experimental edge, along with some melodic uplifting Trance sounds, Future House, Dubstep, Electro Tech, Breaks, Drum and Bass , Electronica, Electro House, EDM, Psy Trance, Pop ,IDM, Good Chill, Weird Trap, Odd Prog.

He left his decks and records in England for the benefit of a younger generation and decided to use a laptop and controller for mixing in Australia 

Roger could also be heard playing as a resident, in Jack’s Bar, Keen St, Lismore regularly, mixing a blend of House, Electro House, Techno, Prog, Breaks, always with a psychedelic, creative or crazy edge.

He is also a regular at Honey Pot Production's beats on tap gigs, as well and the monthly NEMESIS collective in Nimbin, bush doofs, and numerous private parties such as Fashionably Trashed and Triple Treat, 

He's also played multiple gigs for 3rd Eye Productions in Lismore NSW's Hub, which is now the Metropole Hotel in Keen street, Lismore, NSW where he’s also been playing upstairs at the rooftop bar and garden independently and now as a guest with the D’Bakery crew.

Long mixes are his passion, always busy in the headphones looking for a hook or some oddball sounds to throw in.
