Live recording of my DJ set at Vortex Opensource outside Cape Town in South Africa. A wonderful party with some of the best dance floor vibes around. A.K.D is a deep progressive trance project ,created in 2001 in a small town of the southern desert of Israel. The project is delivering a deep atmospheric morning trance,very warm and melodic but always tenders the sides of the groovy progressive trance. Influences of a big portion of the funk face with mellow arrangements,it can be clearly described when FREq, meets Human Blue merged with female vocals without going too far with.

With two albums under their belt ,A.K.D has collected almost 8 years of experience attempted the major festivals worldwide such as Fusion, Aurora, TAZ Festival, Sunset to Sunset ,Universo Paralello, Life Celebration and so on.

They’re interpreting the music as a part of our soul and as part of the human evolution, what we would do without of quality and good music? A.K.D emphasizes that .

On 2003 they have founded Soulectro music since then the label has been the morning of the music spect rum of AKD. Expect the unexpected with forthcoming releases in their own label and also a few required works for the major labels of the genre.

I was extremely honored to be featured on the legendary Essential Mix show this summer...  When I was in college, my teacher used to play us Essential Mixes in class, and on the 20th anniversary of the show,  Pete Tong was hosting James Zabiela and Sasha at the Warehouse Project in Manchester. I was the first one in the queue and the last one to leave the club! I will never forget that night. This year I had the honor of meeting Pete Tong at IMS Ibiza, and I think you can imagine how overwhelming it was to be invited to record a set for the show.  Here is my Essential Mix. 2020 oh 2020… Where to begin ?
It actually started great with a fantastic New years eve gig in Goa, followed by a few more successful gigs in France, UK and Australia. And then in March, it all stopped.
This year has been quite challenging for me to say the least, as it was for everyone. After touring non stop almost every weekend for 20 years, it was really hard getting used to this new reality.
My role as a DJ has always been beyond just a job, it has been my life for so long, a life that I love and cherish, nothing gets better than travelling the world and making people dance.
Of course, this change had some advantages and not everything was bleak. Getting more family time is always a plus - Travelling constantly for so many years was not easy on me and my family, so it was good to be present at home also on weekends and holidays.
One more huge plus was a lot more studio time - another element which was hard to handle with flying so much. So it was good to get productive once again with music. I released 7 tracks, a compilation, and kept Psy-Nation radio going monthly with 12 new episodes.
It was also a good time to get experimental in the studio and produce some more obscure stuff beyond the usual psy.
But Psytrance is still where it's at for me. I started two new projects, which you will soon hear about. The Ace Ventura in Dub album has been shaping up into something really special. And I continued working on the third AV album.
So it's safe to say, there is a lot to look forward to in 2021. And I can’t wait to get back out there and see you all again.
But before 2020 finally ends (Thank god), there is the new christmas selection to share.
For the last 7 years I’ve presented you my annual Christmas mix, and this time, it came out quite different. In this very strange year, I decided to embark on a multi-genre mix quest, covering many kinds of electronica, spanning around three decades, and ranging from Ambient, Glitch, Dub, and Synthwave, to Progressive house, techno, Zenoneseque and Progressive Trance.
The journey became three and a half hours long, and I hope you will enjoy the ride…
