A lone, orange telephone sits washed up on a beach. The front of which bears a striking resemblance to Garfield.
GARFIELD: (So. This is it. My final and finest hours.)
GARFIELD: (...as a telephone.)
The phone lets out a sigh as its eyelids roll open.
GARFIELD: (I can't believe I've tried with all of my power to take over some useless tournament.
His glassy eyes stare into the vast ocean.
GARFIELD: (...to be fair, it wasn't that bad. I mean, I did smash up that annoying chair. If anything, I think I did them a favor.)
The tide splashes into the face of the phone. No reaction.
GARFIELD: (...but he did take me to a nice restraunt... Hm.)
GARFIELD: (...eh. Too much effort to care. At least the lasagna was good. And the music! God, that was a fun fest.)
The tide continues to roll.
