Body and mind nurtured through familiar sound, a rising Finnish force returns to Mango Alley, a "Soul Muse" for the infinite complexities of electronic music. Hypnotic cadences resonate with fundamental frequencies that fire the synapses; percussive sounds cascade in a ribbon of light and a "playground of the organic and synthetic" converge with crystal clarity. Movement Machina employs fascinating rhythms that pulsate in multi-coloured patterns, robotised voices lost in sparkling light.

Gai Barone's storied past revealed in technicoloured afterglow through snapshots of trademark quality. Twin mixes produce renewed spiritual sustenance. Metronomic beat fires fizzing percussion and upbeat analogue sequences descend in dizzying delayed glory, juxtaposed against melancholy and contemplation. An exploration of sonic arts at the cutting edges discovers a path of inner beauty.

A final act finds Spanish flair breaching the airwaves once more. Gullen returns from Amsterdam Alleys to discover the essence of Movement Machina. A narrative that began in the world of rock, renewed by sibling benevolence diving headlong into a new musical ocean. Connecting "organic and synthetic worlds" defined a new order that now finds focus in "Soul Muse". Delicate motifs bounce in stuttered energy as a filtered bass is fuelled by white noise energy. Sonic artistry arises from melodic melange; an adjunct to serenity and blissful craftsmanship.

Through musical interconnectedness, a "Soul Muse" emerges redolent in vibrant energy.

Sometimes you just have the creative drive to finish something in a matter of hours, not days. I loved the musicality and melodies in Vernal when I first heard it on Anjunabeats Vol. 13, I just had to put my own spin on it. No MIDI packs were used in this remix at all, I had the original on repeat trying to figure out which notes were playing. I also added in a few harmonies not present in the original. Hope everyone enjoys my remix of Spencer Brown - Vernal.

Introducing a new name to Manual Music, and keeping the long tradition of giving (Dutch) talent a platform to showcase their exceptional music to the world, we proudly present the debut release of Krohl.

Krohl doesn't appear completely out of nowhere. In fact the Tilburg based producer has been part of the more mainstream orientated duo Matt & Kendo who released their music on labels such as Toolroom, Spinnin Deep, Lemon-aid and Flamingo amongst others. He even worked together on projects with big commercial names such as Joeysuki, Lucas & Steve and Funkerman to name a few.

But the heart wants what the heart wants. Krohl always had a deeply rooted love for the underground scene and it's genres. A love that ultimately lead to this three track release on Manual Music, featuring the songs Manisa, Grund and Melamun.

His productions are deep, mature and warm. Rich of melodies and tiny little details that make each song come alive and sparkle. We can only hope that Krohl follows his passion for deep and underground music more often, because the results speak for themselves..
