Written in collaboration with his Indigenous brothers. Recording didge, clap-sticks, animal mimicry and vocals. Showing the power and potency of this ancient land and culture.
This fusion of psychedelic sounds and Indigenous elements pays homage to the traditional ways of life in Australia.
It's an honor to be able to bring this music to the world. We are eternally grateful to Coedie McCarthy, Jannali Doncaster and Kiaron Assan for sharing their culture, recordings and artwork with Crooks for this incredibly special release...This is the sound of Australia.

Oli told me how much he loved "Musical" by Pspiralife & Klipsun and could not wait to play it on stage in front of a crowd. Oli did not get to play this track so I did it for him at 7 am in Friday Creek. Here's a mix of some of our favourite tracks from a few years ago mixed with some of my originals.

Thank you for everything, my brother. I will always cherish the amazing times we spent together in the ocean, outdoors and turning dials. You were always someone that I believed in even when you had crazy wild ambitions haha. I will always respect how no one ever changed your opinion about how you wanted to live your life. It was very inspiring to watch how much you would research and put your mind to you chase your dreams. Even though I may not have always known it at the time you taught me a lot, especially about music and being myself. I loved being able to share conversations about things such as crystals with you because other people don’t understand us like you do. I can’t believe how much we didn’t get to do and it kills me that you’ve left with so much unfinished business but I’m beyond thankful that we crossed paths brother. I know your going to be with me for everything I do and I’m glad you will finally get to watch me play some sets and come doofing with me:) I’m going to miss your kind words, loving nature, one of a kind soul and unconditional smile Oli.
