Dark Water are a three piece Darkwave outfit based in Melbourne. Since forming just over a year ago, Dark Water has blown  Melbourne away with their blend of mournful synth pop, evocative of 80s nostalgia. Wistful melodies underpinned by a hypnotic rhythm section and driving bass, Dark Water is set to shatter everyone’s hearts with their sorrowful and emotive power.

DEARTH, pronounced /dɜː(r)θ/, are an Australian industrial rock band from Melbourne, founded in the last month of 2017, originally formed by bassist Matt S., guitarist Theo D. and singer Brett R. The band first performed as a three piece at Angstrom Space first festival in January 2018 at the Grace Darling. Soon after due to lack of similarity in the creative vision showed by the singer, he had to leave.
A new line up took shape in April with Deon (keys), Chloé (guitar) and Callum (vocals), since then they’ve played more than 20 shows between headlining and last minute support act around the Inner North Suburb of Melbourne. Clyde replaced Chloé on guitar in winter. 

Feeding fiendishly each other with ideas, DEARTH’s music is characterised by abrasive guitars, heavy groove bass sound, multilayered synth and the use of a drum machine. Mixing from fast industrial drum beats and heavy bass sound, the band is to be remembered for their unexpected and unprecedented live performance. Every show in every way is getting stronger and harder. Experimenting between the energy of punk-rock and the sound of heavy metal, you could say DEARTH is Grunge. 

Currently working towards releasing a cassette tape in the next couple of months, DEARTH is not the end. Half of the band will take off to Europe to continue the trip over there.
