Ali Alerta’s eyes fix on the violently shaking bushes, his hands clenched around his butterfly net. Focus! Whatever is hiding there is going into the bag. The few drags he took from the smoking termite hill early this morning made him feel fearless, invincible even, and more determined than ever to catch every rare record hiding in the thick jungle around Los Berlinos.
This must be another of those venomous love monsters, he recons, the way she rattles and shakes the bush with such seductive whistles. Got to have this one. Yes, sure would make a nice addition to the colorful collection of addictive exotics, hissing, kicking and flapping in my already bulging rucksack. Now focus.
Slowly Ali lets the bag slide off his shoulder. He takes a deep breath. He bends his knees. He lifts his butterfly net, and with a big leap he dives into the bush. Branches brake, ‘Crack!’, screams escape, ‘Oeeee’, ‘Aawa’, ‘Aaiaaiaai’, growls release, ‘Arrrrgh’. An arm sticks out from the bush. ‘Got you!’ Ali Alerta falls out of the leaves, entangled in his own net. Caught between his hands, twitching in his firm grip, is an arm with a black leather glove.
 
‘What a day…’, Ali exhales thick purple smoke. ‘Stimmt…’ Dr. Seltsam replies, crouching down before the smoking hole in ground. In the background Ali’s rucksack sways, catching the last rays of a beautiful sunset. ‘Stimmt...’

Morphosis - Terraforma Session

In September 27th and 28th 2014 artists, activists, researchers and participants from all over Europe and beyond will gather in Hamburg for an assembly of assemblies. Sharing experiences from real-democracy-movements and artistic experimentation they want to explore new ways of coming together: collective insights into the materiality, the timing, the agenda, the desires and the catastrophes of being many. At Kampnagel Internationale Kulturfabrik, geheimagentur and friends will build an assembly hall and a camp to host them. Here, the assembly will become a laboratory of itself: a collective of friends and strangers with many voices and bodies including those of ghosts and things. 

The Perfekt Radio took a closer look the characterics and potentials of moving masses. We visited the action days during Squatting Days in Hamburg. We also investigated the so-called "black sun", a natural phenomenon which can be observed in the southern part of Denmark - In autumn the starlings, a really social kind of bird, collect at the same place. Every evening before sunset the birds move around in huge formations of around 400.000 starlings covering the sky like a huge moving black cloud, before they finally travel south for the winter.
