Perihelion - Autumn 2013 Zouk Mix

With sultry melodies and driving beats, the Autumn 2013 Mix showcases some of our favourites of late.

Grounded in NeoZouk but taking it in a slightly different direction, deeper and more fluid, my Zouk has influences from my background in electronic dance music.  Trance, chillstep and progstep inspired (even managed to sneak in some psy), the music is more relaxed and laid back with time to really enjoy.

What is Zouk?  Zouk is partner dance style derived from Lambada, characterised by flowing and fluid full body movements.  Zouk can be danced equally well as a choreographed performance art on stage or as a freeform dancefloor style.
