Danza Tribale is set to unleash its ninth release by electronic duo Tamburi Neri with ‘Urlo’ the double EP features four original tracks in the first disc and second disc includes four remixes by Berlin techno staple and Berghain resident Marcel Dettmann. 

Tamburi Neri is comprised of Claudio Brioschi and Andrea Barbieri both from Milan, the two producers have previously released together on Optimo Music and Ivan Smagghe’s Les Disques De La Mort and a recent album on Worst Records, the latter in collaboration with Japanese vocalist Hiroko. 

The concept of the EP comes from the desire to experiment with distinctive textures, pushing the boundary of what could be considered analog and percussive elements, creating a synergy between the two. 
The title track goes further with these experiments by layering droning arrangements, deep beats, combined with deconstructed spoken word samples. 
In ‘Sognare', the vocals are folded in on themselves and distorted, creating a centre, slowly and rhythmically building. Vocal samples give rise to new forms, rhythmic loops, finally climaxing with the driving, potent quality of the electronics. 
The EP continues with ‘Hashiru' featuring vocalist Hiroko, a spontaneous collaboration in the studio. ‘Hashiru' means to run or to take flight in Japanese, perhaps a fitting metaphor for the work Tamburi Neri have created using beats and loops that pull the listener forward through the EP. 

Dettmann’s participation on these recordings comes natural from his professional relationship with label owner Adiel. 
Adiel and Dettmann have previously shown each other support over the years, with him inviting her to play at curated events such as Bad Manners showcases, special Berghain/Panorama Bar weekend or Draaimolen Festival. Therefore, he gives the quintessential Dettmann treatment to Tamburi Neri’s 'Medina 84' and three versions of ‘Urlo’ with a playful groove on "Built Up Mix”, a deep drive on “Mind Mix” and a melancholic atmosphere on ’Street Mix.

"Darkroom Dubs" follow up on their latest vinyl only project - Darkroom Dubs Edits by Skinnerbox - with a continued exploration into bridging post-punk and techno. This time with a new release from a rising star in Paris’ blossoming underground - Parisian producer, id!r. "Clint", here premiered, kicks things off with darting vocoder stabs and reverberated drum whacks that build a rich sense of space. A steadily punching Disco clap and distant, eerie melodies add intrigue before swelling, filtered synth tones suffuse the track’s distinctly 80’s tinged track. ‘Monday’ then melds sharp percussion with trippy, delayed signals and bold, marching synth lines that sit the track comfortably in big room spaces. ‘No Dust In Vain’ drives a purposeful thud through menacing guitar plucks and horror-movie vocals as tension churns throughout. Manual Music affiliate Sigward then follows up with his interpretation of ‘Monday’ as he balances brash, thundering stabs against soft, mournful sweeps bringing a rich and varied package to a close and tying up another coup for a bonafide label with over 13 years experience in the game.

"The Metamorphic EP has a volcanic theme influenced by my travels to Iceland. During my time there, I saw snow covered volcanic peaks, black sand beaches and glaciers. I also visited the Lava Centre, which had simulations of volcanic activity and tectonic movement. Iceland has extraordinary land formations, and often it felt as if being on another planet. My trip was during the Summer Solstice, and I experienced 23h/day of sunlight the entire time, which was awe inspiring and surreal. 

Track three, Liquid, was made on the plane and while in Iceland. I went to an ice cream shop in downtown Reykjavik, and there was a kid who was exclaiming excitedly about the liquid nitrogen machine. Every time the machine was turned on and steaming, he would run up to the counter and shout, “Look, liquid!” His enthusiasm was contagious, and it seemed as though it connected all the patrons at the shop regardless of language barriers or cultural differences. I wanted to capture the moment, so I took a short video which I later sampled into audio, chopped up, and time stretched beyond recognition."

and hand Numbered. 10 Copies will be part of INDUSTRIA LIMITED Show
happening in September and will feature Screen prints on the plastic Cover.
This record one can say was planned a while back when Robi had a DJ gig together with Vox Low. The next day while meeting in the lobby for a late coffee and a croissant in a quiet Bordeaux Hotel, the idea came for a swap Remix on Vinyl.
When Robi started Industria, he still had in mind that the second Vinyl release could be that swap. Guess both Artist coming from a similar background and working in a similar analog organic style liked the idea and knew what they would get sound wise would be something both have plenty to play with.
On the A side Vox Low remixed Robi’s HARD WORK, which was already released
in 2018 including a remix by Die Wilde Jagd. Vox Low turned the track into a dark more dancefloor orientated version. Still with the trademark Vox Low sounds and Guitars.
On the B side Robi remixed You Are A Slave. He liked all the sounds so much that he thought it is better to keep as much from the original as possible, still trying to make it his own version. He added percussion to create a more funky/dark sound and extended the track. The dub was done in an old school kind of way. All the parts where laid out on a mixer and assigned to various tape delays and reverbs and would be dubbed real time, in the school of Mad Professor or Lee Perry. Not an easy approach and it needed several takes till it started making sense. All mistakes and organic things where important to this Dub.
Robi will be hosting an INDUSTRIA Limited exhibition later in the year, which will
show the direction the label is going.

"SHADY (Pieter De Meester and Maxim Helincks) are one half of the band Stavroz, and 2020 drove them from a frenzied international touring schedule to a period of relative quiet. While other musicians tried to capture the gravity of lockdown, SHADY used their time to cook up joyous prankster music, something refreshingly at odds with the global zeitgeist.
On ‘Your Skin’, the pair channel the wonky surrealism of Connan Mockasin, the understated swagger of Nicolas Jaar’s low end, and the tomfoolery of a Mighty Boosh crimp. The song invokes a carefree future where clubs have reopened and sweaty, raving humans rub bare shoulders on a full-swing dancefloor. ‘I wanna touch your skin’, croon Helincks and De Meester in a cellophane falsetto... well, hopefully soon.
Sydney’s Dreems (aka Angus Gruzman) takes SHADY’s original off-road. The notoriously eclectic co-founder of Multi Culti records delivers a cheeky Balearic take, switching to a major key and adding a lolloping low end while maintaining SHADY’s low-tempo chug. Anyone who appreciates the optimistic psychedelia of Acid Pauli is likely to get drawn into this one.
For his remixes, label boss Uone teams up with his long-time Auckland collaborators Out of Sorts. Between them, they invert SHADY’s colours to produce something deep-hued, with a long bassline that’ll appeal to fans of Silicone Soul and vintage Luke Chable. The vocal remix takes ‘Your Skin’ into late night territory, and the dub remix is a step darker, recalling the Rainbow Serpent Festival dusty dance floor moments."
