El pasado mes de agosto Lolita recibió al sello @HardFist, fundado en Lyon en 2016 por @Tushen_Rai & @CorneliusDoctor.

El sello es un trabajo colectivo formado por un grupo de artistas que abogan por un enfoque desinhibido de la música dance. Atravesando épocas y fronteras, Hard Fist mezcla percusión, acid y sonidos globales de países de Oriente Medio, África, Asia y Europa. 

Influenciado por la música italo, trance, disco, new wave, tribal y psychedelic rock, sus lanzamientos siempre son innovadores.

Phred Noir started “La dame Noir” project in 2008, back then it was a blog meant to spread the darker side of disco music. 
Early 2009, Phred met Hugo Jurado and they decided to open a venue around this music.

“La dame Noir Bar“ was born and Phred Noir took the option to book djs locals and internationals that were playing exclusively music from this scene while all the other bar in Marseille were booking local djs from whatever music each and everyday.

That’s how artist like Mano Le Though, The Revenge, Mark E or Woolfy had their first gig in France and that djs like Andrew Weatherall, Superpitcher, Rebolledo, Michael Mayer, Munk and so many more come to rock this 70 square meters small little bar in south of France. 

In 2011, still under the art direction of Phred “La dame Noir Dancing” a small 250p club opened, and became the 1st European club to book only this kind of vibe 3 nights a week.
The label “La dame Noir Records” started around 2015 once again mixing local talents with the international scene. 

Playing 3 times a week in “La dame Noir Dancing” for the last 8 years, Phred Noir had the incredible chance to play music with all the artists that matter from the dark disco/indie dance/slow techno or scene.

Now that “LdN Dancing” is closed for ever due to COVID, and before opening a new venue, time has come for Phred Noir to travel, the wheel is turning.
Even if he already toured in Asia, played in Tel Aviv and in all the main european cities, Phred still needs to discover places like Mexico and other important cities where to share his music.

With creating Hard Fist records, Tushen Raï has found a way to bring together his two passions: collecting records and traveling. Highly inspired by labels like Optimo, Versatile, Comeme and by the spirits of Andrew Weatherhall, he have only one motto : "Stay singular, keep the floor tripping, give them something they don't know". From Turkish psychedelism to Romanian cold wave, Jamaican Disco or tribal breakbeat, his undeniable dancing sets are fed with powerful soul voices, weirdo beats and unknown instruments.

For Bordello Radio, he delivers a one hour mix of records picked up from his personal record collection surfing from cosmic dub to balearic and 90’s trance.

Hailing from Bucharest, Khidja's tracks on Emotional Especial and Forgotten Corner Records have captivated us with their hypnotic, electronic sounds flecked with a middle eastern influence. Very refreshing music. The mix promises an 80's feel with some unknown new wave gems, an unreleased Cage & Aviary remix and their trademark eastern electronic vibe.

In celebration of Datcha's ten year anniversary, this set from resident curator Thomas Von Party brings together a host of influences that will be familiar to Montrealers, from his acid house and techno roots as Turbo Recordings A&R, to his taste for the psychedelic other exemplified with his label Multi Culti, the emphasis is on fun, freedom, freakiness. There's also a big nod to Mr. Quinn aka @oldwalkingman of Paranoid London and Decius fame, the artist who TVP credits as being his go-to producer and most played artist of the past decade of Datcha. Olivier DB's first EP, titled "What U Want?", will be released on June 12th under the Epicure Records label Pavillon.

Olivier dB is a French born DJ & producer based in San Diego. His music draws inspiration from 80’s italo, electro, house & new wave.  

Fusing retro melodies with funky driven rhythms that evoke feelings of nostalgia.  Each set is an ever-changing journey through crate-digging, world sounds and eclectic exploration.

This original track is an engaging and dreamy composition, blending deep melancholy with palpable romance. With disco influences, "What U Want?" fits perfectly both in the dynamic atmosphere of clubs and on a romantic drive along the California coast.

The track is accompanied by four remixes from French DJ Prinze, German DJ Paradiso, and Italian DJs La Kena and Eliogold.

Pour ce numéro 145, on était en direct des studios de la radio FMR pour recevoir @faustine16, la perle rare de l'asso Toulousaine "Dernière Neige"... Après avoir passé quelques années à Bristol où elle y était résidente pour la radio locale "Nood", elle s'est forgé une solide culture musicale, autant dans le rock que la musique électronique. Depuis son retour sur Toulouse, elle mixe régulièrement dans les événements de son asso dont elle est une digne représente mais elle est aussi invité dans d'autres événements locaux comme "Girls Dont Cry" ou le "Nouveau Printemps" tout récemment.

Queer, Trans and Goth. Activist and DJ Max Passion has been dancing in the darkness for years having held residencies at goth and alternative clubs across his city as well as playing at events across the UK and featuring on online podcasts. Known for his striking fashion and cutting edge mixing style, his sets consist of melancholic Dark Wave and Cold Wave cleverly blended with Italo Body Music, Techno, Electro and Disco. 

He also runs an online platform and mix series called Bat Dance; a series designed to share, highlight, and celebrate the amazing work of BIPOC / Women / Non Binary / Trans+ / Queer musicians, artists, and DJs within the dark electronic scene. Growing up in Berlin, shaped by a dancing mother and a bass-intensive dad (famous DDR musician), music means EVERYTHING for Shimanski from an early age. At the age of five, the keys of a piano were already sensitively operated, at the age of 12 the drumsticks and a drum kit were added.

Shimanski originally started with Techno music in 2012. She played in small clubs in Berlin to practice a lot. Today Shimanski enchants the dance crowd with Italo Disco mixed with electronic elements, cosmic, House, Indie Dance, and Nu Wave.

Since 2020 Shimanski has been a resident DJ of the Disco Bizarre crew, which is famous for their legendary shows every Saturday at KitKatClub Berlin.
