Four perspectives of the same track. Above you is a melodic driven track that would suit headphones on a lonely dark night, a prelude on a club night or a chill out track by the side of a pool.

Two of the mixes have been inspired by previous PL styles namely the big beat funk sound from Molecronsition and the chilled out break beat sound from Broken Binary Beats. The fourth track finishes of the single with an ambient beatless version.

All very different but with the same DNA.

Bored one Saturday afternoon so I thought I would have a bit of fun with one of my all time favorite tracks.  Apologies Mr. Gaia if you're offended :-)

Hi All. Here’s a new track. For reasons that will come clear there are no plans to release it! It’s a track that I I’ve been playing out over the summer during my live sets, and the response has been overwhelming, from seeing instant reactions to it, to people reaching out and asking about it. 

To be honest it started out as a bit of fun and a love for one of the best (I my view) TV series on Netflix - Dark. I LOVE the opening title track - Goodbye by Apparat. It’s just one of the tracks that gets you inside in such a beautiful melancholic way. So I thought this would make such an uplifting track. 

The result is a breaks / breakbeat type of track, which has a lovely head nodding motion and a really nice breakdown. 

Could do with a bit of tweaking, but I thought I'd post it as is

Anyhow, thought I’d write all that incase you wondered what the sample was and where the track came from. Hope you like it as much as I did  writing it and playing it. 

 Please share you thoughts. And if you don’t know the original you must go and check that out as well.

Solfest - Live August 24

Back in July I was kindly invited out to Puglia in south Italy to the festival Affacci to play a couple of live sets of my tracks. One set was performed on the main stage, and the other, a more chilled set, in the old town, amongst the art installations. This is that chilled set. 

It's more of an amble through old and new tracks. A collection of my more downtempo, melodic music over the years. Headphones on.... volume up... eyes closed. Hope you like.

Perpetual Loop is the downtempo project of producer Charles Massey.  With almost twenty years of released music on numerous compilations as well seven studio albums, this project is where the heart and the creativity lies most.
