For this Radiozora mix, I took a different path—one that drifts through ambient textures, downtempo grooves, and leftfield detours. MIKE STELLAR’s vast experience and fine hearing allow him to thoughtfully curate a unique sonic journey that connects various corners of the world, blending European electronic tunes with eclectic beats of African and Brazilian origin. The Angolan-born artist is well established in the Portuguese scene as a refined music selector. Boshke Beats presents SANCHO MEISO CHAYA, the dub/experimental project of Shin Sasama. His musical journey began in the 90s as a saxophonist in the roots dub band Cultivator and the ska band Cool Wise Man, while also working as a producer in the Japanese music industry. In the early 2000s, he launched Sancho Meiso Chaya as a solo venture, exploring ambient and experimental sounds.  In the 2010s, he co-founded Lo Hype with Katsuya Sano, releasing minimal-house tracks on Ibadan Records. Since then, he has been part of diverse collaborations including Yuta Chaya with YUTA (Liquid Drop Groove), Chaya & Kojiro (Re:birth Festival), and Sancho Meiso Chaya & Koyas (Psymatics).  This set was recorded live at The Dome, Ozora Festival 2024.

Back in July I was kindly invited out to Puglia in south Italy to the festival Affacci to play a couple of live sets of my tracks. One set was performed on the main stage, and the other, a more chilled set, in the old town, amongst the art installations. This is that chilled set. 

It's more of an amble through old and new tracks. A collection of my more downtempo, melodic music over the years. Headphones on.... volume up... eyes closed. Hope you like.
