It is time for another dose of a stupendous & quality filled release here on Perplexity Music, this time coming from US based talent, Kono (USA). The first track, 'Moku' is a delightful number to begin with as it highlights what the EP is about & the story behind its title.  You are treated to a host of sun ladened melodies that start off from the moment you press play, illuminating your mind & preparing you for a dazzling production that streams out good feelings & pleasant musings. Moku, a little place of heaven off the Hawaiian coast, a place where the water is as blue as the nightly sky & the sun as blazing as can be, that is where you are transported to from your daily lives; to this exotic & riveting destination. The energetic & subdued synths work well with the overall floating elements of the crisp vocal chops, bringing in flavour & colour to this already extraordinary work of art. A delicate piano line is used for a tender touch to lighten up this exquisite piece bringing it all to soothing & peaceful end; coaxing the lustrous Hawaiian breeze right to you.

There has been a dry spell of weather, but all of a sudden, the rain pours down & engulfs everything in sight, for however long that is. Suddenly, it's bright again & slowly the rain water is drying off, leaving this pungent & dense smell in the air, almost refreshing, as if the pores of rain that are drying are evaporating all around & you can smell it; that, that is 'Petrichor'. As refreshing as the word itself , you can feel that new & untouched feeling of everything being cleansed by the way the gorgeous melody kicks in right away alongside the subtle but strong percussion. The bell like chimes add in that authenticity, with the powerful chord work protruding through to heartfelt sounds. Almost like a rising tide, the breakdown serenades you into oblivion by the light piano lines that purge everything that is dark, leading you into the light before the full extent of the fluttering melody really launches in with the well placed vocal chops; that's when you know you've felt it & tasted it, the freedom after the rain.  

Canadian talent Martin Peter brings in his impressive musical artillery for a divine remix of 'Moku', luring you in with the slow & deep chords that spark wonder yet positivity. This beautiful remix really focuses on the sweet melodies from the original, using a great range of chord accentions & vocal  chops to enhance the smooth & delicate textures of it. It is vibrant & welcoming, really being one to warm up those blistering & fast approaching winter nights with the right blend of rhythm & melody that works strategically, again taking you away to the warm Moku air that surrounds you.

Another EP that has blown us away & we hope that you felt the same range of emotions that these prodigious artists have managed to extract from the deepest parts of us. There has been a dry spell of weather, but all of a sudden, the rain pours down & engulfs everything in sight, for however long that is. Suddenly, it's bright again & slowly the rain water is drying off, leaving this pungent & dense smell in the air, almost refreshing, as if the pores of rain that are drying are evaporating all around & you can smell it; that, that is 'Petrichor'. As refreshing as the word itself , you can feel that new & untouched feeling of everything being cleansed by the way the gorgeous melody kicks in right away alongside the subtle but strong percussion. The bell like chimes add in that authenticity, with the powerful chord work protruding through to heartfelt sounds. Almost like a rising tide, the breakdown serenades you into oblivion by the light piano lines that purge everything that is dark, leading you into the light before the full extent of the fluttering melody really launches in with the well placed vocal chops; that's when you know you've felt it & tasted it, the freedom after the rain.  

Canadian talent Martin Peter brings in his impressive musical artillery for a divine remix of 'Moku', luring you in with the slow & deep chords that spark wonder yet positivity. This beautiful remix really focuses on the sweet melodies from the original, using a great range of chord accentions & vocal  chops to enhance the smooth & delicate textures of it. It is vibrant & welcoming, really being one to warm up those blistering & fast approaching winter nights with the right blend of rhythm & melody that works strategically, again taking you away to the warm Moku air that surrounds you.

Another EP that has blown us away & we hope that you felt the same range of emotions that these prodigious artists have managed to extract from the deepest parts of us. Another stunning EP has made its way on to Perplexity Music for you wonderful folks, this time from Argentinian producer, Musty. Delivering a tremendous 4 track EP titled, 'Sofia/Eon' we can assure you that nothing but the most beautifully blissful sounds to immerse yourselves into will suffice.

To kick things off, we have the original version of 'Sofia', which instantly lures you in with the powerful & crisp range of percussive sounds that contain the beginning of the summer fuelled melodies. This track boasts fragrant feelings of a lovely sunny day with how the gorgeous chords work their way in, making it a picture of perfection. Add in the simply dazzling break, packed with tender piano lines and a well structured use of synths & you know you are in for a ride into the spectacular sunset when it all collides.

A remix of 'Sofia' Is delivered to you by the ever amazing Infinity State who takes it up a notch with the vibrancy of the melodies, adding a more emotional kick to it. It's the essence of beauty & how powerful these refreshing sounds are, especially in the breakdown.. The percissusons are finely tuned to add a more step into it, working sublimely with the chord arrangements. The essence of heartwarming, this remix does the original justice meticulously. 

The next original we have by Musty is called 'Eon', a more energetic track than the first. It is still laced with those tender melodic lines that this producer has signified in his work. Powerful percussions glide along with the stimulating piano backed chords, taking a more alluring route. It erupts into a soothing pause, the piano taking you on a warm journey with the haunting vocals harmonizing the way for you. 

The remix of 'Eon' is presented to you by Akihiro Ohtani who takes the original to a new level with his  stunning rendition. The sharp & clear sounds build up the momentum to launch you into a haven of the most flattering melodies, keeping in line with the original. The pads cushioning each beat, the chord work artistically arranged and the piano breakdowns build an amazing backdrop to the beauty of this genre.
