Time for another sublime release here on Perplexity Music, this sensational two track EP being presented to you by US based Desaicrator & Jay Flora. Both of these names have made their marks on a great range of labels so it is an absolute pleasure to have them develop this top of line EP titled Fly With Me/Always About You for us & for you to sink yourself into. 

The first track, 'Fly With Me' can simply be described as a light hearted, euphorical & mesmerizing production due to its blissfully tender atmosphere that is painted in our minds. With a combination of the softest of chord work mingled in with an escalated backdrop of padded kicks & bass, one does feel like they are traveling above with the birds themselves. The perfectly added vocals add in the essence of what the release is about, being free, flying against all odds & being at peace with the air around you, whether it as independently or with someone special.   

'Always About You' is a much more vibrant & upbeat track that contrasts from its counterpart single on this EP. Exuding an almost tropical like vibe to begin with, you can here each sound so clearly & distinctively that a story can be created with such ease to either relax you & invigorate you. Packed with trance like elements, this high octane track screams late summer nights & sunset staring over haunting landscapes, like a soundtrack to it. The soft pads combined in with the various chords portray an emotional sound so finely that it can be seen with our eyes & heard by our souls.

Australian talent Barzek returns to the label in 2016, following a series of  inspiring releases, such as "Plateau," "Holiday" (feat. Victoria Ray), and "Erhu" -- all of which were collaborations with Jethimself. "Counting The Daze" is a blissful downtempo track from Barzek, featuring remixes from Delectatio (Portugal) and Andora Jane (Georgia).

A strong breakbeat is quickly established in the Original Mix, while countless intriguing melodies are added in the background. The lush piano theme plays beautifully in the break, where we also witness smooth percussion elements and soothing supportive melodies. Delectatio's remix takes things down a notch; introduced with the piano lead from the original, the track includes an intricate breakbeat and a variety of harmonizing synths. A brilliant guitar line emerges in the break, which is later replaced by a stunning new lead to finalize the song. Rounding out the release, Andora Jane provides a truly downtempo version of "Counting The Daze". The piano theme is brilliantly surrounded by mesmerizing string layers and captivating percussion lines.

"A Source Of Light" is the latest addition to the "Year Zero" Album. I consider this as the evolution of the track "http://soundcloud.com/panosla/sky" 
 because it was made out of the same set and share the same characteristics. "A Source Of Light" is a peaceful and calm track, with a soothing atmosphere, echoing sounds with a minimal approach on melody and harmony.

Recently "Year Zero" launched a Facebook page to keep in touch with everyone appreciate this project and spread the word so if you feel like keeping in touch and on track with "Year Zero" a simple like should be on its way.
