Well everyone it's once again time to kick off your shoes and kick back to another lavish release from us here at Perplexity music, and wouldn't you know it, we have a superior collab from the likes of progressive legend Roald Velden and upcoming progressive wonder Morrison Kiers. These two both have a true talent for providing euphoric journeys fueled by lush melodies and harmonic pads, and this time around is no exception, as these two wonders have combined their lush styles and created a jaw-dropping new single titled Zonnewende.

Providing some superior talents in the remix department we have resident label artist Bee Hunter serving up some serious summery vibes with his signature beach laden sound, bringing some pumping chords and chuggy bass to the mix to give this original a bit more bounce.

We are also very delighted to showcase a remix from rising Canadian producer jav3x, who takes this original and gives it a nice injection of progressive power and drive, while maintaining a solid melodic approach that surely will cater to many progressive loving needs out there.

Last but in no way least we have the increasingly popular German producer Soundslogic, who without a doubt took all the beauty of this original and added a strong club worthy energy to the mix, thus supplying this release with the perfect finishing touch if we do say so ourselves. Furkan Senol, the producer based in Turkey is joining us for a warm and melodic track on the label, as he deliver the release for this week on PHW. It has that sun-drenched, summer-ish vibe that oozes sunny skies, white beaches and all that we so often want to go for. It's definitely a strong contender here, with its melodic approach.

On the remixes we welcome back 2 of our great buddies and long time servers on the label, as we first see another entrance from UK's finest Ashraf Soobiah, aka Zuubi. With a strong line of releases through our imprint and other major labels such as Macarize, Perplexity Music, sunsetmelodies, Nueva and many more, he now returns with a total remix of this melodic gem and put on a brilliant club stormer here that definitely will be a jaw dropper for many people. With another outstanding bassline,that is is to deliver echoes across the globe. That together with smooth melodic arrangements, makes us believe he has another winner here, make sure to not miss out! 

We are equally honored and happy to welcome back co-label worker and one that is quickly going to rise to the top with his music, as another Eleve magical journey is just around the corner for you all. For those who followed PHW for a long time, knows all about this guy, and what his creative mind is delivering. Smooth textures, smart and effective melodic tweaks together with clever vocal additions bring another way to interpret these melodies into something new, and we can't say less than that he made it to perfection once again. Consisting of Danish-born (LA-based) producer Tim McEwan and NYC-based singer-songwriter Tyler Lyle, The Midnight have emerged in recent years as a veritable leader of the synthwave resurgence. More specifically, the duo have received generous support from legions of synthwave enthusiasts, as well as more casual synth-pop fans, ever since their aesthetic-defining debut EP "Los Angeles" (2014). Their subsequent LP offering, "Endless Summer" (2016), cemented the duo's reputation as one of the finest new synthwave acts, a sentiment that musical legends (Chicane), renowned artist peers (FM-84), and prominent genre hubs (NewRetroWave) have graciously reinforced of late. The Midnight Remixed, one of our most ambitious releases to date, features brand new remixes by a distinguished group of Silk Music veterans, whose melodic and atmospheric sound has significantly helped to define our brand. We've also recruited a few famed nonresident label contributors, including Lifelike and Michael Cassette, whose specific compositional gifts and musical legacies seemed especially apropos to this 80s-influenced endeavor.

The Midnight Remixed showcases breathtaking new interpretations of The Midnight's past work, ranging in style from drum & bass and deep house to trance & progressive. Michael Cassette, Johan Vilborg, Dezza, Lifelike, PROFF, Terry Da Libra, Sundriver, and Talamanca's exhilarating, club-oriented interpretations feature rapturous chords, and, of course, Tyler's mellifluous and infectious vocal hooks. Offerings from Marsh, Vintage & Morelli, eleven.five, and Mango vs. We Are All Astronauts convey a deeper and more introspective musical tone, but are nonetheless equally memorable.

Perplexity Music is delighted to present you all with an incredible and exclusive release, courtesy of Unlivian. The talented producer has crafted a 7 track LP titled, 'Dancing in The Dark' for your listening pleasures. Boasting a range of exquisite sounds, each production is bursting to the brim with luscious arrangements that have been finely crafted to ensure that nothing but the rawest and realest of emotions and music are combined together.
 
To kick things off, we have 'Alchemyst', a gorgeous and soothing melody fuelled piece that is both tender yet has that upbeat vibe. With the travelling percussives mixed in with the varied synth and chord arrangements, it's the perfect way to delve into the LP with a mountain of sounds to hear.

Next up is 'Blossom', another jaw dropping beautiful piece that encapsulates you right away, especially when the stunning melody kicks in. This is certainly the perfect audio definition of the title track with it's refreshing sentiments that both the flower and state of mind have.

'Freedom' is a double dose of enlightenment and calming as the atmosphere blends in to create a delectable production that fuels your mind undoubtedly. The chords work in synch with the gentle yet evident bass line travelling with the array of percussions, providing that additional punch.

Following this, we have 'Lullaby' and as you can imagine, it is dream worthy, an effect provided by the ethereal vocal chops that can drift one away to some form of limbo. It is a gentle piece that entails simmering melodies, light synths and a gorgeous break which tops of it off.

'Night Eclipse' takes it back to the more haunting and thought-provoking soundscapes with its stunning arrangements via the addictive chords and vocals. Providing an imperishable melody that stays with you, this is hands down one of those pieces that lingers due to its striking composition.

We then have 'Lagoon', a smooth sailing and airy production that is packed with those warm summer ending sounds. Comprised up of relaxing piano lines that accommodate the tempo, it provides the perfect viewing of blissful moments spent regardless of where you are.

To finish things off, 'Moment of Life' rounds up the epitome of the album which is the embodiment of pure melodic progressive sounds. The percussions change up to provide a blend of a both funky yet heavenly variation of deep house. A divine way to finish it up, something powerful yet calming.
 
Nothing short of incredible, Unlivian's artist album is one that deserves all the praise it can receive. This compilation of quality productions reiterates what this Perplexity Music has been about since its start and we've been thrilled to able to tie things up with this phenomenal LP. Russian producer Ellunate reemerges with an electrifying progressive EP, with a soothing blend of the classic progressive sound, the modern, and a touch of retrowave.

Winter is the best season to witness the marvelous Aurora Borealis in its radiant glory and “Iridescent” display of swirling colors. Here, Ellunate presents a swirling composition of audible textures and colors, intricate arp weaves and melodic themes respectively, in an electrifying aural display of his own. “Deep Thought” infuses concepts of the pondering mind, a profound rhythm of the heart, and electric arps of that help accentuate expressive emotions. The overall product leaves the listener under a hypnotic enchantment. Intensifying the EP from its introduction, “Frisson” releases a surge of thrills and excitement. At its core, retrowave interweaves arpeggiated chords, electric pads, and a banging progressive rhythm.
