We are delighted here at Shores to welcome a collaborative duo, who individually have created some wonderful music, working together to create a stunning track: Scotland-based Mark Moncrieff and US-based Seraphym.

These sensational artists have crafted a magnificent tune, interweaving a wonderful progression with incredible melodies and a beautiful vocal. Also joining these talented producers on this release is Norway-based artist Ruben Hadland who has created a phenomenal remix of the gorgeous original, injecting an extra degree of energy and enhancing this amazing track in his own inimitable style.

Russian producer, Limetra, debuts his first official release on the imprint. His music style very melodic with uplifting progressive vibes. "I Miss Your Smile" is an exceptional example.

Brenden LaBonte a.k.a. Forerunners has released a steady stream of immersive and unique tracks over the past 8 years, with remixes on various Solarstone labels. Something of an enigma as an artist, this Arizona based producer is definitely in the ‘quality over quantity’ camp. This EP contains 3 pieces of the finest progressive trance music that you’re likely to hear this year, where the focus is on the slow build, the journey, where filters ebb and flow, layers creep to the front then withdraw, where the percussion is hypnotic and the synths repetitive, and the melody draws the listener in with its subtlety, rather than a crass fanfare. It’s either early night material for big trance rooms, or peak time material for intelligent progressive floors – spun by DJ’s who know how to work a room. This is what progressive trance music is all about.

After two decades at the forefront of the dance music scene, Nick Bracegirdle AKA Chicane is preparing to release a long awaited retrospective, ‘Twenty’, set to drop on his own label Modena Records on July 29th.

CD One epitomises Nick’s passion and commitment to new music and dance talent. Crammed with remixes from some of the rising stars on the scene, the disc shows an entirely new side to Chicane. UK iTunes’ ‘Best Electronic Artist Of The Year’, Grum brings an euphoric remix of ‘Offshore’ to the table, full to the brim with dancing synths and deep basslines of what he acknowledges as “a universally acknowledged Ibiza classic.” His deep contemporary take on the track is dripping with his desire “to keep the timeless feel of the original club version, while bringing it into 2016 for DJ sets.” Meanwhile, the Earmilk-approved Thomas Datt offers up his own shimmering remix, the exhilarating crescendo of the track mixes the best of 90s trance with a 21st century minimalist twist. He explains that whilst creating his shimmering remix his “main focus was to get that classic Chicane pad just right to give it a whole new life; a more engulfing, epic feeling. Then came the guitar and piano…Once [he] got in Datt flow state, it more or less wrote itself.”

Having a great year, a very productive one and with loads of support through a lot of the major names in the business, he surely drops another 2 productions here having that great blend of melodies and energy that he is so well known for. 

“I Think Of You” has all the right ingredients to become a new summer anthem for him. It’s a good thing with the world that no matter where we are, there is a summer season and Richard Bass is there to definitely seek it up. With warm melodies, packed with all that feel good vibes, Soothing bass lines and chord progressions that are evolving throughout the track, he surely strikes and he does it in his own style. 

As for “My Ways”, we are getting the vibe and tempo up a bit as this is a bit more energetic in style. With melodies and chord progression evolving all over, he surely is to take us places with this rocking beauty. It’s just another one of “THOSE” from him and we can’t do much more than to lift our hats, he’s done it again and we are of course proud and honoured to see him team up with us once more.
