Gabby La La is a musician and songwriter who studied Sitar and Voice under Maestro Ali Akbar Khan for over 10 years. She earned a BFA in Sitar Performance from The California Institute of the Arts in 2001 and has since performed and recorded internationally both under her own name and with notable artists including Les Claypool, P Funk, Bernie Worrell, Prince Paul, Macy Gray, Snoop Dogg, and The Coup. 

La La has successfully completed three Kickstarter campaigns to fund creative projects including a Virtual Reality music video experience “We Love” (2018) which was a collaboration with award winning filmmaker and founder of ARVR Women, Siciliana Trevino. La La's video, "Candy Sandwich" was recently named "Funniest Video" at SPLIFF Film Festival (2019 ASMR Crafting with Sayuri and Gabby La La)

In 2013, La La formed the all girl band, Snow Angel, releasing an EP, double single and a full length album with critical acclaim and features in popular media outlets such as ELLE and Bust magazine. 

Since 2011, Gabby La La has placed focus on live performances and music videos in order to create an immersive experience exploring music, fashion and dance. La La has released 2 full length albums under her own name and is excited to release a double single produced by Hil Jaeger on Inside Voices Records on May 28th 2021. This offering will feature 2 songs inspired by her emotional sound healing concept, Black Rainbow. She has been known to move dance floors at leading Ecstatic Dance events, clubs, gatherings and festivals such as: Lightning In A Bottle, Burning Man, Envision Festival, Shambhala, Rainbow Serpent Festival & many more. 

This connoisseur of cutting-edge electronic music is known worldwide for her bass, chill & ecstatic dance mixes on Soundcloud that have gone viral online - as well as her prolific touring. 

Currently Dakini is dedicated to facilitating diverse and deep ecstatic and intentional dance journeys at local community events, workshops, healing retreats, and at boutique festivals in Australia, Bali, NZ, Hawaii, West Coast USA and beyond. She has now facilitated ecstatic dance events in hundreds of locations around the world, and continues to weave medicinal dance floor journeys that inspire and transform.
