PREMIERE: Caesar - Agora [EP005]

First mix from me this year. I hope you enjoy. I had originally anticipated producing a two-part mix with this mix being the second ‘La Selva - By Night’ side and a lighter daytime session mix being a ‘La Selva - By Day’ first instalment, but I ended up getting cold feet over some of the lighter selections and so I’m afraid it’s the deeper selection only. Perhaps once the sun and warmth return later this year I will feel inspired to record ‘By Day’ 😊.

This will probably be my last recorded set on the trusty Serato DDJ-SD3 as I want to treat myself to the next step up in kit and I think that’s looking like a switch to Traktor and the S4 MK3 having played alongside some friends last year who owned the latter which made me very jealous. Next mix to follow once I’ve relearnt to DJ with the new tools…until then, peace. X

Combining his producer capabilities with a strong A&R work for the last 17 years, Juan has earned a solid reputation in the Deep House music scene, releasing music with an open mind, finding the balance between classic sounds and innovation, keeping the fresh vibe always alive. On the remix duties we have some of our favourite artists featured once again, polish duo Tidy Daps and spanish artist Costela, presenting a nice collection of gems on this release.

'Atlas' is the title of the track, Dutchie Music sound with fat rhythms meeting dreamy pads and jazzy keys, perfect for the groovy Deep House lovers.
