krokodil is a very cheap heroin substitute made in russia from codeine and iodine amongst other things. it's about $3 a hit in comparison to $20 for a hit of black tar - the least pure heroin available.

krokodil is a highly addictive substance that quite literally destroys a person - it's name is derived from the fact that it makes skin go scaly - and from first hit life expectancy is 4months to a year.

so I wrote an EP about it
