At exactly this time last Saturday, I was starting to play my first track at Biohabitat Hotel in Armenia Colombia.

I ended up playing a little bit more than 2 hours to what happened to be one of the most amazing sunsets for me this year.

inspired by the beautiful scenery of the hotel I selected this 2 hrs and something of my favorite tracks I have collected over the past months and even some classics that I'll always play haha :)

I hope you enjoy listening to it as much as I enjoyed playing it.

It was cold outside, but we were cozy and warm inside DV8, dancing and dreaming the winter dream together.  A big thank you to everyone that came out— thank you for making the night what it was!

Tulum Come Down

This mix is inspired by two incredible weeks I spent in Tulum, Mexico to begin the new year. I'm grateful to have been able to play music with some extremely talented artists, at some amazing venues, both indoor and outdoor.  From the pristine white sand beaches, to the tropical heat of the jungle, to the dusty pavement of the small town, one can really feel a magical connection with this land. We danced with passion, explored the jungle, swam in cenotes, slept on the beach, took naps in hammocks, ate phenomenal fresh local cuisine, watched the sunset and sunrise daily, and celebrated life with many beautiful friends, both old and new. This mix is dedicated to all those wonderful people. The sonic journey ends with a field recording I made on the last day; one final rain shower to wash away any and all remaining negative energy. I hope this mix relaxes you and takes you on positive journey, guiding you into a healthy and prosperous 2016.  ~ Sabo

Thanks to Gitano Tulum for opening the doors of their magical venue tucked in the jungle of Tulum, and for allowing me to craft basically a diner opening set, into a headlining set, into a closing set all rolled into one for almost 3 hours. This one was a slow burner full of Latin and African beats along with some traditional Venezuelan music. The setting of Mexico really pulled me in to tap into my Latin roots. Enjoy the trip! <3
