The Flatirons Jazz Orchestra - featuring Deborah Stafford, is a traditional 18- piece big band.  We authentically recreate the great Swing Era music of Count Basie, Duke Ellington, Nat King Cole, Ella Fitzgerald, Benny Goodman, Glenn Miller and other jazz royalty.

The Chicago Jazz Ensemble is a professional jazz orchestra in residence at Columbia College Chicago. It was founded by the late composer and conductor William Russo in 1965.

It might be unexpected but the Brussels Jazz Orchestra (BJO) is not the kind of jazz orchestra that sticks to standards. We prefer to achieve the highest level by composing original music, creating unique arrangements and playing inventively as well as passionately. In fact, it really is jazz with a dynamic orchestral sound, with a classic strength in which each musician is also a brilliant soloist.

La Perugia Big Band è ambasciatrice musicale dell’immagine della Città con oltre 300 concerti nei festival e nei teatri d’Europa, 3 partecipazioni a Umbria Jazz, numerose ospitate televisive in Italia e all’estero.

Amiamo la nostra città e siamo un tributo doveroso e pieno di affetto alla formazione nata nel 1973: una storia gloriosa di 40 anni ed un forte legame simbolico con la Perugia (da qui l’epiteto “the swingin’grifo”) e l’Umbria. 

20 musicisti diretti dal maestro Ferdinando "Nando" Roselletti eseguono arrangiamenti raffinati e ricchi di colore, tutti da assaporare rigorosamente live per un'esperienza d'ascolto unica.

Da 40 anni la Perugia Big Band vive grazie alla passione e al talento di un ensemble straordinario. Il suo ricco repertorio sia cantato che sans vocal rievoca le atmosfere swing delle grandi orchestre americane, interpreta standard e successi evergreen, propone i ritmi e le armonie più suggestive delle composizioni del jazz classico, mainstrean e contemporaneo.
