Sax man and composer Christopher Alpiar has been searching for decades to uncover the nine-note multiphonic chord, performed on the tenor saxophone, that allows the dimension of time to be folded - allowing instantaneous travel in space. The search continues with Æ (Alpiar Experiment).

With a cast of the finest creative minds assembled, the band gathers once again, combining their individual magics to delve deep into the essence of the universe. Beginning the quest with the very rhythm of the Earth, they establish a cosmic resonance together, filled with bare primal truths of life and existence.

They search high and low, from the highest peek of heavenly saturation to the deeps of the depths of the bowels of life. Striving to find their truths individually and as brothers and sisters, they crack open the Earth with sound; with music. And through the music, portals to alternate realities become available.

The core of the Æ sound is the trio: Alpiar on saxophones and EWI (Electronic Wind Instrument by Akai), Mamaniji Azanyah on bass and Kenito Murray on drums. Together this trio lays down the construct for the expedition into nether regions of the mind.

   I truly play my instruments, write my own songs, really sing my songs and have an interest in other real singer/songwriters. I don't rely on AI computer software to create my music because I write it myself. It may not appeal to all but I can honestly say it is my own work.    Just a simple singer/song writer here that has a great passion for song writing and really singing my songs. Enjoy spending my time in my studio in the mountains of California where my guitar whales through the night with a string snapping now and then. Spend my summers at my home in the mountains and my winters in southern California. At one time I had a regular gig in San Francisco where the people were actually able to watch me perform my songs and purchase my work. 

   I now love to play at small gatherings. No, I don't need to bring my computer along for it to perform instead of me. Love to take my guitar to the beach and sit on the sand and sing to the ocean. Or sit out on my deck and sing to nature. Love to have friends at my home to play or write a song together as we sit out on a warm summer evening.
