Dawn in Ulu Muda Forest Reserve, Malaysia. Recorded at daybreak, rich birdsong along with and the jazz-like percussive rattles of a cicada species building in intensity from about halfway through this sample. Agile Gibbons sing in the background.

Decidí probar mis recién llegados micrófonos Clippy EM272 en un humedal urbano de la ciudad de Valdivia, Laguna de los Lotos, Parque Saval.
En la grabación se pueden escuchar un coro de ranas chilenas (Calyptocephalella gayi) y algunas aves (cachañas y treiles).
Es un pequeño extracto de prueba, un trozo libre de ruidos antrópicos. Luego hubo mucho ruido de vehículos y gente, por lo que decidí suspender la grabación. 
Fue una estupenda primera aproximación a los posibles resultados de estos micrófonos, que espero poder probar en condiciones más idóneas para un registro de calidad superior, pero estoy bastante conforme con el resultado.

This track contains a recording of the echolocation sounds of some of the 13 native to Vitosha mountain species of bats. The original frequency of the sounds on this recording was at about 40 kHz. They were pitched down in order to make them audible for us. I tried to do the pitching down in a way that preserves the original character of the sound the best, but it's not possible to preserve it entirely, the original sounds are even pluckier and more well defined. 
Observing different recordings I noticed that the bats are using sounds in a very broad frequency spectrum - some were as low as 18 kHz, others were as high as 60 kHz. Very fascinating creatures! Enjoy the clicks!

I recorded this metal cable in the high winds of storm Francis to test my impedance transformers. The recording has had very minimal post processing.
