Lillian Frances is an electronic musician hailing from Davis, CA. She crafts imaginary worlds by collaging together sounds and images that call her attention.  Her unique alt-pop style has been compared to Lorde, Sylvan Esso, and Billie Eilish.

Southern Songs and Stories is a documentary series about the music of the South and the artists who make it. We showcase their performances and discover the stories behind their songs with a look at their lives on stage, in the studio and at home as well as the family, friends, fans and music professionals around them.

The series is based in western North Carolina and the surrounding Appalachian and foothill regions, covering an incredible array of musicians and bands in the region.  Host Joe Kendrick produces Southern Songs and Stories independently, documenting the current music of the South and the story of how it came to be, from styles that are centuries old to genres that are just emerging. It is a show for everyone who loves music and for anyone who wants to explore the South.

Jon Piazza, (AKA Jon Swift), is a forward-thinking singer-songwriter-rapper-producer who’s slick R&B laden Hip-Hop style is the product of growing up in the heart of the Bay Area indie Hip-Hop scene, studying jazz performance at the renown Lamont School of music, and immersing himself in the modern sounds of contemporary West Coast rap and R&B. From dance hall rhythms to synth-funk grooves to straight ahead rap beats, his unique sound is the sum of many funky parts.
