After a stellar outing for us at the Groove Garage last month, we just had to have Mr Ben Jamin back for us as this weeks guest on our mixtape series!

Ben Jamin is a Liverpool based DJ and producer with releases on labels such as Discoholics Anonymous, Too Slow To Disco, Hot Digits Music and Hot Gorilla Records. 

Support includes airplay on BBC 6 Music Craig Charles Funk and Soul Show with 'Hold On Me' making it onto Craig Charles' best of 2022 show. Juno Download also included tracks from Cosmic Miracles in the best Balearic/Downtempo of 2022. 

The year also saw 5 top 100 positions on Traxsource and Ben also received a nomination for 'Emerging Producer of the Year 2022' at the OGV Music Awards.

Lots of lovely tracks stuffed into the first hour, with some funky oldies in the first half and an increasingly fast paced second half, culminating in a couple of new bits from myself right up at about 130 BPM. 

In the second hour it was my immense pleasure to welcome along the lovely Pedro from Lisbon with an excellently funky hour of tunes. Pedro came to the rescue when my planned guest let me down, and he came through in style with this excellent mix in no time at all - legend!

Her goal in curating your boogie experience is centered around the groove. Playing music that encourages the stiffest of bodies to wiggle to the beat - bouncing from funk to house but always finding her home at disco. Her sets are frisky and full of life. She hopes to share something that inspires you to dance, ignites your soul, and takes your mind out of your body and into the music.

London-based DJ and producer Pete Ellison has been spinning music for 25 years and has a passion for funk and disco, blending sounds of the 70s with house beats, vocal samples and chunky basslines.

He broadcasts a weekly show on NDC Radio called the "Feel Good Friday Show", with a special guest each week from the Nu-Disco world. The show won the award of "Best Radio Show" at the OGV Music Awards in 2022. 

He's had releases on Super Spicy Records, Spincat Music, Discoholics Anonymous, Mango Sounds, Discography Lessons, Spa In Disco, Duchesse and Hot Digits. Two of his tracks have hit the Number 1 spot on Juno Download.  

He runs a London DJ collective called Serendipity who throw underground events and boat parties. He has played at dozens of London clubs,  and has played at Wilderness, Secret Garden Party, boat parties, woodland raves, Ibiza pool parties and even the dungeon of a French chateau. Long DJ sets are a speciality, with his longest ever DJ performance being an epic 12-hour set.

Pete is also part of The Disco Waltons, a group of International DJs and Disco Lovers who came together during lockdown through their love of music. They host a Sunday night show on NDC Radio, playing on rotation with special guests

As well as Funk, Soul and Disco, he plays Melodic Techno, House and Progressive House
