Our beloved bearded one, Iry Sabir @iryaz-sabir, is on hosting duties for this week's show and in the first half of the show, he gives us another classy mix of cuts from his vinyl collection.

His special guest in hour two is Yiannis Dafermos aka Daf all the way from Rethymno, Crete (Greece). He's a resident for a great club called Nafpigio & is also owner of Axos Bar, also in Rethymno. Daf's set is pure class, leaning towards the jazzier side of deep house, with plenty of fresh vibes and one or two classics for good measure. Enjoy!

Ep201 - Iry Sabir & Daf - Disco Waltons Sunday Service (30th Mar25)

I was back on the decks this week after a short break, and was eager to unleash some funk, soul and disco on the digital airwaves. I was delighted to include my latest track, "Respect Yourself", a  funky twist on the original Staples Sisters song. It will be out on the Discoholics Anonymous label soon. The show started slow and groovy at 108 BPMm but I managed to build up the tempo enough to include the new track from my friend Neil Willis called Move It, available now on the excellent Boogie Brunch Records label.

My guest for the second hour was Bessie Woo, whose mixes I have been following for a while now. Her style blends disco, nu-disco, soul, and house music, influenced by her passion for dance and discovering new sounds. Bessie hosts a monthly radio show, "The House of Woo," on Data Transmission, reaching audiences worldwide. She has performed at various events and venues across London and Manchester, including the International Women's Day event in Manchester last year. Her guest mix was superb, full and sunshine, joy and dancefloor energy.

Feel Love Friday with Christian Woodyatt (and guest Maurice Joshua) | 18th April 2025

Co-host @gregmiddleton took over the show this week, and delivered a sun-drenched show full of balearic vibes, with special guest, Fran Deeper. @fran-deeper

Fran Deeper, from Mallorca, Spain, is one of the most important references of the House / Nu-Disco scene. He's the owner of the prestigious record label Spa in Disco, which has published more than 100 titles in digital format.

His extensive musical career and Nu-Disco Underground with electronic touch style has opened him the doors to some of the most prestigious DJ booths all over the world: Madrid, Mexico City, Ibiza, Tulum, London, Guadalajara, Berlin, San Francisco, Marseille, Jakarta, Barcelona, Milan, Stockholm or Bali, to name a few.

In all of them, he's shared the stage with some of the most important global representatives of the style like Pete Herbert, Rayko, Thomass Jackson, Ilya Santana, or Ray Mang, making him a veteran of the dance floors.

Thanks to his long career, he's also collaborated with some of the most well-known international record labels like Midnight Riot, Rare Wiri, NDYD, Spirit Soul Records, Love Harder Records, or Hot Digits. Besides, he's also collaborated with some of the top blogs like 'Music is 4 Lovers', 'Gouranga,' 'Le Visiteur,' 'Deep House Moscow,' 'Red Bull,' 'The London Disco Society' and even radios like 'Vibes Radio,' 'The Basement Radio,' and currently on a weekly program for the prestigious 'Ibiza Global Radio. London-based DJ and producer Pete Ellison has been spinning music for 25 years and has a passion for funk and disco, blending sounds of the 70s with house beats, vocal samples and chunky basslines.

He broadcasts a weekly show on NDC Radio called the "Feel Good Friday Show", with a special guest each week from the Nu-Disco world. The show won the award of "Best Radio Show" at the OGV Music Awards in 2022. 

He's had releases on Super Spicy Records, Spincat Music, Discoholics Anonymous, Mango Sounds, Discography Lessons, Spa In Disco, Duchesse and Hot Digits. Two of his tracks have hit the Number 1 spot on Juno Download.  

He runs a London DJ collective called Serendipity who throw underground events and boat parties. He has played at dozens of London clubs,  and has played at Wilderness, Secret Garden Party, boat parties, woodland raves, Ibiza pool parties and even the dungeon of a French chateau. Long DJ sets are a speciality, with his longest ever DJ performance being an epic 12-hour set.

Pete is also part of The Disco Waltons, a group of International DJs and Disco Lovers who came together during lockdown through their love of music. They host a Sunday night show on NDC Radio, playing on rotation with special guests

As well as Funk, Soul and Disco, he plays Melodic Techno, House and Progressive House
