A Beautiful Disaster

I put this up 3 yrs ago, but I couldn't stand the last hi-hat hit being off by a bit. The worst part was Ableton couldn't find that intro radio station thing. And neither could I. I Googled it and found it. So I finally fixed the hat strike. and now here it is.

I didn't get finished in time for the Native Instruments' Sketches2 contest. The FM8 Sound from Cazal Organism gave me every synth setting in the entire song. The leads are a single note thru the entire song. Percussion is Abbey Road Moderne Drummer Sparkle. The Keith Flint type vocal has Driver for distortion and oZone Imager for width. The Maxim type vocals I had to use Guitar Rig for the distortion as I couldn't get Drive to sound right. It's the Lead800 on Dirty Clean. Both are an SM58 into a Scarlett Solo in my bedroom studio.

I moved my Native Instruments Komplete VST folder to a new SSD hard drive so I had to make sure I didn't have to reinstall anything. Everything worked great but I ended up writing something that sounded like a nice House bit. So I worked on it for 2 days and came up with this. All the keys are standard presets in Komplete 10 Ultimate instead of my past LoopMasters songs where they were all samples. I did use LoopMasters for the uplifts and impacts and that vocal sample. The drums are standard Kit Core 707 from in Ableton. I kid you not.
