He felt the music and decided to move to LA to go to school for Audio Engineering at SAE Hollywood and The Los Angeles Film School which gave him even more inspiration to Rap and develop his own unique style. With him learning from schoolo bring out more of his Southern hip hop Roots and blend both together to find his Voice. Element was born in Chicago, IL., then moved to Florida where he became a local radio personality and DJ for the areas first hip hop / rap program, "The Hip Hop Underground". Soon, after transitioning to being an artist himself and after a life-changing experience, he infused his religious beliefs with his music; while still being able to keep his audiences' attention with his "in your face" style.
He has traveled internationally and has shared the stage with artists from Rick Ross, Vybz Kartel, Beenie Man, Shaggy, and others, to Kirk Franklin, Barlow Girl, Sanctus Real, The News Boys, PaPa San and Shirley Caesar. One of the greatest highlights in his career was 1 of his 3 tours in Jamaica in front of a crowd with over 120,000 in attendance. He is currently involved in upcoming acting opportunities and major production for his upcoming album!

Yung Cutt Cutthroat was born as Michael Louis Burlin Jr. I Grew up in Cecil County Maryland in a little town known as Port Deposit , which I still reside in. Growing up in Maryland music was a way to express and relate to the lifestyle I lived in. Being in the streets listening to influences as Biggie Smalls and Jadakiss. I felt a connection with the words telling a story behind the struggle of trying to make it out of the streets. I have been writing and recording music for 15 years. I've came to a point in my life where I want to share my story with the world and all my fans and supporters.

Recently I started my own Team Yung Cutt Industries (YCI) My goal is to show the world anything is possible, some of my older songs are from me being in the streets, more negative. You will witness a transition to the newer more postitive music. I can't leave out what made me who I am and what I was apart of and affiliated with. Everyone has a past, we all have dreams.
