Write On Me

while in brisbane for a family occasion, i thought it'd be nice to catch up with my childhood friend chris who grew up across the road from me in southern sydney from '97 - '02. when he was 10 he moved to the samford valley, a rural town a little bit north of brisbane. my mum and i used to spend a week or so every summer at his family's house but eventually stopped those annual trips in our later teenage years. i hadn't seen chris for about 8 years, i spent 2 days at his wonderful place in the valley and in my spare time i did a little bit of sonic exploration with my little handheld gear. this is some of what i heard while exploring the beautiful subtropical farmland that surrounds his property.

currently there is a grand-scale coal seam gas project proposed in the pilliga by santos, if it goes ahead this will have catastrophic affects on the forest, it's surrounds, the underlying great artesian basin and the many sacred sites within.
