Originally from Newcastle UK, DJ/Producer Red Drum has been mixing for 25 years. His love of dance music began in around '92 with early Hardcore and Jungle. His formative gigs included Newcastle’s first Drum & Bass night Steppaz 1.

Through the 00’s Pete was known mostly for playing Hard Energy and Acid Techno at various clubs, squat parties and outdoor raves throughout the North, including a memorable night DJing inside Newcastle’s iconic Tyne Bridge. He also found time to run his own night ‘Cause & Effect’ for the best part of the decade while Producing & Engineering music for various Hard Dance labels such as Shock, Mohawk/Aztec and 12 Inch Thumpers.

As he has matured and become slower and funkier, so has his music. Now based in Chiang Mai, Thailand, Pete can be seen playing a mix of what he describes loosely as ‘Eclectic Electro & Acid’, anything with an electronic or techy edge that’s also funky and energetic. He draws from everything from Synthwave, Detroit Electro and Nu Disco to Breaks and Acid House, while still banging out the occasional Techno & Hard Acid set when called for.

After a 5 year hiatus on the production tip, Pete is currently building a new production studio and designing and manufacturing synthesizers for his company ‘Siam Modular’ – As soon as he’s finished sharpening his tools you can expect a live modular synth set coming in 2020.

▪️ N.O.R.D aka Waldo Von D's roots are in the rave scene of the 90's. Originally inspired by the Techno and Electro from Detroit, the French DJ and Producer was later, in early 2000's, completely seduced by the scene around Lyon and Grenoble (France) who was offering then a fresh crossover between Electro and Techno, mixing New Wave, EBM and Italo-disco influences with a punchy and dark sound. Artists who had gravitated around the Goodlife label (such as Kiko, Oxia and The Hacker) and others like DJ Hell or Thomas Schumacher constitute one of his main inspiration. Since, in addition to keep an update in a lot of established electronic genres, he has taken a close interest for avant-garde labels as L.I.E.S, Lobster Theremin, Opal Tapes or Creme Organization and also for the dark electronic new scene (EBM & Industrial revival) with labels such as Aufnahme+wiedergabe, Jealous God or Pinkman. 
▪️ These music genres are, with Electro-Techno style, mainly represented in the DJ Sets of his Waldo Von D project and also in the Hedone DJ crew he founded in Grenoble (France)
▪️ In late 2017 he relocating in Chiang Mai (Thailand) and co-founded North Beat Records in 2018. To not blur his Waldo Von D project he started a new musical identity, as N.O.R.D, in order to play some other genres like classic 4/4 Techno, Old-school rave anthems, Indie Dance, Deep House or quality Tech House. He played as resident DJ in Babylon Bar and at many parties in and around Chiang Mai while continuing to promote regulars events.
▪️ His current others musical projects  focus on producing and develop his own digital label NORD Records. The first single "Rave To The Beat Feat. VenusLove" by N.O.R.D was released last December 2019 and is available on the label Bandcamp. A Various Artists LP and a solo EP are planned in the coming months.
