🦋 Wie hast du Silvester verbracht?
- Ich bin kein großer Fan von Silvester und arbeite stattdessen lieber, um anderen eine schöne Nacht zu bereiten. Dieses Silvester konnte man mich sogar in meinem resident Club hinter der Bar und dann anschließend hinterm Pult finden. Danach gings dann erstmal zu Freunden zu deren After Hour.

🦋 Gibt es schon Festival Dates wo wir dich diesen Sommer auf jeden Fall sehen dürfen?
- Ich bin dieses Jahr unter anderen in Kroatien beim 3000Grad am Meer und natürlich dem 3000Grad Festival in Feldberg. Zudem kann man mich mal wieder auf dem Wurzel Festival hören. Es kommen aber noch ein paar tolle Überraschungen dieses Jahr, die ich jetzt noch nicht verraten darf.

🦋 Steht bei dir dieses Jahr irgendwas großes an?
- Wenn alles klappt, bringe ich vielleicht schon dieses Jahr meinen ersten Track raus, den ich gemeinsam mit einem guten Freund produziert habe. Darauf bin ich schon sehr gespannt, wie dieser Weg noch so weiterlaufen wird.

House, Techno und Psy around the globe. 2gether bespielen wir mehrere Channels auf HirschmilchRadio, einem der größten unkommerz. Radios für elektronische Musik im Netz, betrieben von baq und haben dort auch mehrere Shows.

We are a daughter vs. father b2b DJ duo. Our style range goes from trancey house to peaktime & psytechno to psytrance. Daughter Siri has been doing the festival at the autonomous center Bargteheide near Hamburg/Germany for years, has been playing at VAs in the Hamburg area for just as long and father baq has been playing house, techno and psy around the globe for 35 years. 2gether we play several channels on HirschmilchRadio, one of the largest non-commercial radio stations for electronic music on the internet, run by baq and have several shows there too.

Baylee Brown hails from the coastal town of Grimsby but has made a global mark with his glitchy take on the Romanian minimal sound. His distinct style has led to releases on top labels including Roots Recordings, Issues, and Roush, all while earning support from key tastemakers such as Jamie Jones, Paco Osuna, and Marco Carola. Following the launch of his own newly minted label, OUT OF FOCUS, Brown now steps out on Lee Foss’ South of Saturn for the first time with ‘Omen’.

“The A-side to this EP has been in the back of my mind since I first started producing, growing up watching MTV. The Prodigy's tracks have always stood out to me, and this was later made more true when Marco Carola dropped a track that sampled them at We Are Festival in 2023. Since then, I was just waiting for when I felt I could best do the sample justice, and with this being my most requested track I've made, I feel I've done just that.” – Baylee Brown.

The wonderfully warped 'Omen' features synthetic synths wrapped around a lithe and minimal groove. Glitchy electronics sound like a motherboard in meltdown with whirring FX, emo vocals, and rave sirens adding futuristic character. 'DeepR' follows with dubby, twitchy textures and twanging synth notes that make for a tactile groove. Throw in spoken words and plenty of production trickery, and you have a fresh and compelling minimal house sound.
