Heya Soundclouds, alphyre here. I'm a professional time-waster and habitual procrastibator. I pound out poorly-mixed and unrefined 8-bar loops on Propellerhead's Figure whenever I'm procrastibating; most of which you may find, indiscriminately dumped, here on soundcloud. I have no experience with mixing or mastering or producing anything so, don't expect to be blown away. Still, if you enjoy anything, let me know.

I make beats using my phone app called Figure.

Programmer by day, musician whenever I can squeeze it in. I write songs, play guitar and fancy myself a bit of a singer, but my voice isn't exactly my strong point. I have a ton of partially finished songs and fragments of songs, but writing lyrics is a chore for me, so I haven't quite gotten them fixed up the way they should be. So if you're a lyricist without a songwriter, feel free to hit me up. And if you can sing, that's even better. I'm also open to any other interesting potential collaborators out there. I'm currently doing a lot of electronic stuff because a) I love it and b) I don't have to write any of those pesky lyrics. But my deeper interest in music leans more towards the indie rock side of things. Arcade Fire, Built to Spill, Elliott Smith, that sort of thing. Although really, I like anything that's interesting or beautiful in some way.

Making music is one of my favorite things to do.  Right now, I make music on Garageband, NoteFlight, iMaschine, Take, and Beatwave.  But my favorite software I use is Figure by Propellerhead.  

Sounds by me, myself and, well just me. And anything I feel merits a repost for being so damned cool too :-)
Gonna be lots of loops, experiments and exercises in sound creation. I might even make a full song with some vocals in one day. But don't expect too much yeah ;-) Oh yeah, before i forget, you will actually hear me play my real drums too :-) I'm not that great, but i love playing, so don't expect pro level playing cos it aint gonna happen. Yet!! ;-)
