@sanchopanzasound has gained a fantastic reputation across the last couple of decades as an event and DJ team who very much bring the feel good vibes where-ever they appear. Renowned for working hard to give their followers and event attendees both the time of their lives and bang for their buck they are soon back in with the 2022 edition of their Campo Sancho festival which lands at the end of July.

We spoke to them indepth about their career, events, their stage at Carnival and of course this years Campo Sancho festival in July. They also put together this tasty mix for us. Welcome to some Word Is Love Show action with more New Releases from the past few months including Nu Disco, House, Garage and Electro with a top selection of remixes, reworks, edits and everything inbetween.

On this hot mix the Grace Jones theme continues with a fire remix of her track 'Love You To LIfe' remixed by Caged Baby & Guy Williams. 

There's also a remix of René & Angela's 'I'll Be Good' remixed by Dr Packer with vocals by the amazing Lisa Millet that starts the mix plus there is music by Riva Starr and his track 'Brotherly Love Divine' with vocals by Pheba Edwards, plus DJ Gusto's 'Disco Revenge' is also been reworked to great effect by Sean Finn, Nytron & Softmal and features wonderfully.

Also expect music by Marcel Vogel and his track 'Keep On Stepping' and also a remix of FunkeeSounds 'Rockin Da House' by Hotmood plus many more bangers to enjoy.

If there’s anyone who prompts the question “When does he find time to make that?” it’s serial editor and remixer Pete Le Freq. For more than 20 years he’s been reworking disco and funk classics as label boss of Alpaca Edits and Llama Farm Recordings, updating originals with a distinctive dance‑floor edge. His prolific remixes have been played by DJs worldwide — he’s a regular at Beatherder, made his Ring stage debut this summer alongside Utah Saints and Jaegerossa, and is a Mastermix remixer alongside Ben Liebrand, Sgt Slick and DJ S. He’s shared decks with Young Pulse, Michael Gray, Craig Charles, Dr Packer and Jo Whiley, and already has dates booked for 2026. 

Simply put:  he makes what he loves in the headphones come out the big speakers.
