Episode 73 sees me pull my regular trick of starting with mid-tempo groovers, slowing things right down, then picking the pace back up for some party grooves in the second half. No surprise that I kept things eclectic, with some 80s chug, soulful house, Brazilian & African-inspired grooves, smoky soul, hip hop and house… then ending with a little tribute to James Mtume who sadly passed away last week. 

My guest in hour 2 needs no introduction, but I’ll do one anyway. I'm incredibly excited to bring you a mix from London-based DJ and producer Adriel Leff, AKA Jet Boot Jack. Adriel’s become widely known for his high energy, uplifting party tunes, and he’s racked up literally millions of Soundcloud plays of his infectious edits and reworks. He’s a hugely talented producer with a big, distinctive, trademark sound. I’m sure you’re already aware of Adriel’s huge productions, and prepare to be blown away by an hour of full on Jet Boot Jack magic, packed full of exclusives and unreleased material.
