Krystal Rozes has been very busy in their new studio in the North Georgia mountains in Krystal's home. This album is their second psychedelic album, and Krystal and Emma wanted to let everyone know that they were not taking psychedelic mushrooms while composing these songs. They love this music.

The album Dreams is based on stories and dreams that the members of Krystal Rozes have discussed among themselves. Some of the literature should be obvious, while others require some digging.

Dreams

Almost all of this album was recorded in Krystal's home in North Georgia. She finally finished her studio in what she dubbed her Hobbit home, built on a ridge covered by her landscape to create her private world. She added extra bedrooms for the other band members and visitors. Some songs also contain quotes from the book Elizabethan Lyrics, edited by Norman Ault. This album starts with a revealed secret that Krystal figured out first after digging through some legal papers left by her father and mother in a mysterious box. Her father could not have children after serving in Afghanistan, so Emma's father volunteered to donate to the cause through a fertilization clinic. So, Krystal and Emma are half-sisters. The album goes through a set of emotional songs about traveling and dealing with lingering emotional issues for each of them before focusing on the year's closing months and the mysteries each one brings.

Under October Skies

With their latest album, Enigma, the band said they spent enough time in the studio for a while and wanted to go out and hit the road. They recorded this in Krystal's new studio in her house in the North Georgia Mountains. It is an exploration of the mysteries of life or the enigma of life.

Enigma

This album started off where Enigma ended, but events in the fall of 2024 shifted the focus of the album to something different. There are still a couple of songs that are like "Enigma", but the majority of the album focuses on the changes that happened in America leading up to election day 2024 and afterwards. Krystal, Emma, Lisa, Lizzie, Melanie, and Kyle started a shift towards folk and country music having spent so much time in North Georgia. They couldn't help it. Enjoy...America's Soul

This is a choral work based on the ancient lunar cycle and Celtic traditions.

The last movement is when the veil is at its thinnest, and the celebrants dance with their ancestors for a brief moment before they fade away once again.

I have always loved music. I grew up surrounded by music and sounds. I play the French horn and studied that at UGA and the Cincinnati College/Conservatory of Music. I started composing when I was in my 20s but stopped as I raised my two children. After my father passed away, I came back to creating music mostly for symphonic bands, but I also composed a bit for choir and orchestra. I am an avid gardener and rosarian. I still teach music.
