¡Qué ganas teníamos de retomar nuestras sesiones #HEADQUARTERS! Y para la ocasión, no se nos podría ocurrir nadie mejor que un artista como pocos, pionero del techno y un auténtico maestro a los platos: Cristian Varela. El madrileño protagoniza nuestra 14ª entrega de #HEADQUARTERS, nuestro proyecto en colaboración con la reconocida marca Pioneer DJ, y hoy en DJ Mag España tenemos el placer de presentaros su set exclusivo para que lo disfrutéis de principio a fin.

Cristian necesita muy pocas presentaciones. Sin lugar a duda, uno de los pioneros del género que ha pisado las mejores cabinas de todo el mundo y ha recibido una impactante ristra de premios. Por resumir, mejor DJ de techno, mejor DJ del año, mejor sello de techno y mejor álbum internacional. Todo eso, varias veces.

Hablamos de un productor arraigado y altamente respetado, pues, entre otras cosas, sus shows de 6-Six Vinyl son simplemente impresionantes y únicos. Además, en 2003 empezó uno de sus proyectos más ambiciosos, su sello, bajo el nombre Black Codes Experiments, que recientemente cumplió 20 años y el artista celebró con un nuevo álbum que vio la luz el mismo día que se hizo esta entrevista.

Kemchug is a river in Siberia. It originates on the western outskirts of the Eastern Sayan. In the lower reaches it flows in a wide, sometimes swampy valley of the Chulym plain. Mixed and deciduous, mainly birch forest and shrubs grow in the vicinity of the riverbed. The floodplain and the river banks are covered with thickets of grass and shrubs. The river is rich in fish. The objects of fishing are mainly — pike, taimen, ide, perch.

The EP includes remixes from very talented musicians, masters of the genre - Davor Tosovic (@davortosoviclive), Nicolas Barnes (@nicolas_barnes), Monophaze (@sid85) and Radio Badjay (@radiobadjay).
