The song was originally named "From the North to Distant Shores" and was the moment in the story where Cenos took his fleet in direction of Dunerande, the island that was left behind by the gods, populated by savages and people who only knew war. 
They were not blessed with the knowledge of gods due to the fact that the island was so far from the continent. So Cenos saw this as an opportunity to bring these people under his power and make them part of his army to rule on Osyrhia. 

That's why the song has some reminiscences of Lost in the Dark Lands/ Fall of an Empire from Fall of an Empire album, and Master on the Waves from Score to a New Beginning.
