Written for a female voice and two male voices.
The first song is written through the eyes of the lady looking forward to a wonderful future and progresses backwards to their first moments together through the thoughts of the man. All their hopes and dreams are shattered when he suffers a near fatal car smash and all the money runs out. In her desperation she takes a loan from a loan shark.
