It's fair to say that If there was an Australian Dance Music hall of fame, Ivan Gough would be in it. Whether you're talking about Dj'ing or producing, Ivan is one of Australia's most accomplished dance music exports. An Australian electronic music pioneer, his rare talent in the studio has conjured a career that many artists only dream of, while his notorious skills in the booth have rocked dancefloors across the globe from Ibiza to New York, Canada to the UK, and everywhere in between. 

Over the years Ivan's records have made it into the playlists of the worlds best DJ's like old school legends Sasha and Paul Oakenfold, and the more recent class of top DJ's like The Swedish House Mafia and Tiesto. Ivan's records have also been getting regular plays on Pete Tong's influential Radio 1 show 'the essential selection' in the UK, with one of his TV Rock remixes (with Grant Smillie) getting the coveted 'essential new tune'. He also has more releases (and remixes) to his name than any other Australian, with dozens of records and cds bearing his name. Over the years Ivan has produced Progressive house, deep house, trance, electro and breaks, making arguably the first nu school breaks record in Australia with Phil K and Andy Page in 1997. He also ran the studio and produced for respected Australian Deep House label Zero Tolerance from 1999-2004. More recently he has turned his hand to writing and producing Big room house. Not only is he renowned for his enthusiasm, flair and technical prowess in the studio, but on the decks his legendary track selection and brand of main room tunes (often his own!) has seen him tour nationally and internationally on a prolific basis. 

As TV Rock with Grant Smillie, Ivan has had 11 No.1 dance tracks on the ARIA club chart, more than anyone else, and in 2006 their smash hit 'Flaunt It' broke all the records. The duo garnished 2 ARIA's for the track, selling more than 175,000 copies and going double platinum, as well as holding the record for the longest running Australian track in the ARIA top 10 ever. Ivan and Grant continued to dominate charts around the country and the world with their singles 'In The Air' and 'Diamonds In The Sky". Both featured Rudy on vocals and both hit #1 on the Australian club chart and were played by all the worlds top DJ's.

2012 and beyond sees Ivan's latest record with Feenixpawl "In My Mind" all set to do serious business internationally. The melodic chords and sublime vocals, combined with a massive drop, have people already saying it will be one of the tracks of 2012. In fact Axwell liked it so much he signed the tune and even did a remix of it!

Being one of the most in-demand Techno DJs of our times, Ben Klock needs little introduction. His name has been closely associated with Berlin’s legendary club Berghain since 2005. His monthly residency has formed the backdrop to his international success, providing an invaluable platform for his ability to create a room rather than just play to it.

Much of his early career was marked by marathon sets – a signature that played a considerable role in nurturing his skills and reputation – but even the more compressed sets he shares today evidence an intricate narrative and sense of flow that defines him as a DJ. It was these inherent abilities that led him to compile the fabric 66 compilation in 2012, before winning the BBC Radio 1’s Essential Mix of the Year award in 2015.

His releases on Ostgut Ton have become landmarks in the imprint’s history. 2009’s “Dawning”, the first of his collaborations with Marcel Dettmann kickstarted the label itself and remains a stand-out track in its discography. Another release of particular note is the Before One EP including “Subzero”, which many techno lovers still refer to as their gateway track into the whole genre itself. For many, however, it is his album One (2009) that best captures Klock’s talents as a producer. His skills as a remixer have also seen him rework tracks by a wide variety of artists, including Kerri Chandler, Depeche Mode, Robert Hood and Kenny Larkin.

Additionally, Klock curates with great passion his own label Klockworks, founded in 2006. With releases from DVS1, Stef Mendesidis, The Advent, Sterac, Etapp Kyle, Temudo and many more Klockworks became a synonym for unique, high quality Techno.

In 2017 Ben started his own event series PHOTON which is a unique concept show that blends light, architecture and music. Since then he toured PHOTON at special venues in major cities around the world such as Printworks (London), Gashouder (Amsterdam), Arca (Sao Paolo), to name a few. It quickly became a new standard for audio visual electronic music events. In 2023 the project returns after a pandemic induced break with a brand new visual and artistic concept.

Mell Tierra is aiming for the top and wants to reach everybody with his music. His progressive and electro house releases on some of the world’s biggest labels such as Revealed Recordings, Spinnin’, Armada, CR2 and Flamingo Recordings prove his talent and got him supported by world famous DJs such as Tiësto and Hardwell.

Over these last few years Mell has garnered a loyal fanbase. Next to support from Tiesto and Hardwell, there is a wealth of goodwill for this talented DJ from all corners of the scene. Also well-known artists such as Armin van Buuren, Gareth Emery, Marcus Schossow, Laidback Luke, Markus Schulz, Paul Oakenfold, Paul van Dyk, Sander van Doorn and Thomas Gold have all supported Mell Tierra’s tracks.

In Holland, Mell Tierra has entertained the audience of the biggest and most popular venues. Clubs like Escape, Matrixx, Bloomingdale, Panama, Westergasfabriek and Crystal Venue are among the grand list of Dutch venues where Mell has performed. With the support of his releases, the international career has made a flying start for Mell. Aruba, Russia, Spain, Czech Republic, Austria, Ireland, Taiwan and even Tomorrowland in Belgium made it onto his list of gigs abroad. Mell Tierra gives the audience the urge to dance and injects clubs and festivals with the maximum amount of energy.

Mell also aims to reach an audience through online media with his DJ mixes. In Mell Tierra Monthly, fans of the genre can listen to a balanced mix of known hits, Mell Tierra exclusives, bootlegs, and also the deeper style of Mell’s taste in genre. Mell Tierra is an artist who continues to develop as a producer as well as a DJ. The aim of being a DJ is essentially to play what the crowd wants, not simply what you like to play. However, building your own crowd, by producing your own music, allows the possibility to be able to play what you like. Mell is keen on participating in the EDM scene on a global level, and has his mind set on reaching the entire world with his music.
