To every artist who shared their tunes, poured their heart into their craft, and inspired countless listeners, a heartfelt thank you. As we close the door on 2023, I wish you all the happiest of holidays, brimming with joy, laughter, and of course, the perfect playlist to soundtrack it all. May the new year bring you fresh melodies, unexpected harmonies, and moments that make your soul sing. I’m your host and the dj for the first part of the show, Juan Pablo Torrez. In the last part we welcome Kostya Outta with a pretty nice guest mix that includes a remix he did for CHRSTPHR’s ‘Anomaly’ which is out now via our beloved label on Beatport, Spotify, Apple Music and YouTube. 

Born and raised in Belarus but now based in Poland, Kostya Outta first emerged just over a decade ago. On the success of early tracks such as 'High Flyers' and 'Silence', Kostya's groovy melodic sound was born, making him a new breed of progressive house producers to watch going forward. World class DJs as Guy J, Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, among others, have been steadfast supporters along the way. Now, following an impressive debut for Cid Inc's Replug Records, Kostya adds Clubsonica to his resume with a huge rendition of 'Anomaly'.

Silk veterans Peter Illias (Slovakia) and Ad Brown (UK) have teamed up for Arrival's latest release, "For This Moment". Peter Illias most recently appeared on Arrival with his remix of Ninesh Babu feat. LaMeduza's "Carry On," which was featured on our "Progressive Essentials 01" compilation. Ad Brown is the internationally acclaimed co-host of our "Silk Royal Showcase" radio show and also continues to make regular appearances on our various divisions, most recently with "Apsara," a collaboration with Anushka De'sai. On remix duties for "For This Moment," we are thrilled to welcome back Fon.Leman.

The original mix quickly establishes a unique, firm groove with a lush, deep bassline and refreshing sound effects. Soon, a stunning synths appears, which is supported by background pad layers and a gorgeous female vocal stem. In the break, a truly immense soundscape is presented, in which a piano line and string layers combine beautifully. The main theme lead continues hereafter, which plays extremely well with the well-crafted percussion elements.

Russian artist Fon.Leman returns to Arrival after his "Parallel Worlds" EP in November. Over the past year, he has become a fixture on Above & Beyond's "Group Therapy," as well as other globally recognized radio shows. His remix starts off with a hard-hitting rhythm and energetic synth stabs, with supporting arpeggio melodies underneath. Numerous sound effects spice up the atmosphere, and multiple new melodies are continuously added to the mix. The break features a piano line, supported by various string layers and the main theme lead. The latter continues thereafter, during the energetic latter-half of the track.

Turned onto electronic music from an early age, Peter used to buy Depeche Mode, Tears for Fears and Shamen records when he was young. But it was trance music in 90's that really excited Peter.Tuning avidly into BBC Radio 1 station in 90's and downloading sets from PVD like Live in Gallery 1999 and Paul Oakenfold set from Space, Ibiza 1999 gave Peter a taste for trance and first attempts for progressive music.

It wasn't long before his senses were luring him off to IBIZA Island in the middle of Mediterian. Ended up being there every year for a week or two, chilling and enjoying new genres of music.Because of powerful energy there, Ibiza has a draw which is more about the way that people feel when they are here: excited, uplifted, energized ...and free! Accepting of who they are and who they want to be. So in 2008 Peter decided to put together all the pieces of musical knowledge he had acquired throughout his life and dive into the world of production. All his hard work paid off this year when his first release ONE OF US was released on the top progressive label ARRIVAL , part of SILK DIGITAL group.

Peter is slowly, but firmly gaining recognition abroad EDM scene. With his music being supported by global superstars such as Above&Beyond, Richard Durand, Marcus Schossow , Daniel Kandi, Jaytech and many more... 

Peter is surely a name to watch out for, in the future
