I recorded this live stream a couple of years ago when we were deep in the middle of another Covid lockdown.

The set turned into a bit of crack-on and ended up going 4 hours longer than I expected 😂

It starts with some psytrance and moves on to the hard house, hard trance and everything in between.

Due to technical issues, I started 30 mins late and had to leave several tracks out, but it still turned out pretty ok 👌

AMP, producer/content creator has been a musical wizard since the ripe young age of 3 when he would mimic his father playing drums, and his first experience with vinyl was not long after when he would sneak his dads records to the top of the driveway then sit on them and sled down to the bottom!! The next time AMP would touch vinyl was in 1996 after a friend returned from the UK and brought with him the UK Hardhouse sound. One listen and AMP was in! In 2002 he joined a long list of Auckland Djs starting up the mighty UPfm and within weeks had created The AMPlified House Show, a broadcast that turns 21 years old this year as well as celebrating 400 Shows!  After a hiatus from hardhouse and playing house for around 12 years AMPs back on the hardhouse scene bringing a unique and distinctive full sound with an attacking ‘playing live’ style that’s been refined over the 27 years now served in the headphones. Now also producing tracks with engineer Manik as well as being one third of new hardhouse group TriMangl’d, hardhouse lovers the world over will enjoy the contributions AMP offers up! Circular Fire

After discovering the hard house scene in London from 1999-2001, I returned to Sydney and quickly embraced DJ'ing at local hard dance events. Life events put my passion on hold until Covid hit and The Lockdown Legends Facebook group sparked my love for music again. Now, my goal is simple: to share and enjoy hard house, hard trance, and house music with fellow enthusiasts, without any grand ambitions for world DJ domination.
