Nate Wood is a 28 year old hiphop/rap artist from Pewaukee, WI. He grew up on a wide array of music stretching out from Journey, Bon Jovi and Nsync, until he was introduced to Eminem and Jay Z when he was 11 years old. From that time his study of music and hip-hop grew while he was chasing his hoop dreams through middle school and high-school. By the time Nate was in college, life caught up with him and he began to accept that as his basketball aspirations had passed he was going to have to live within the cultural stereotypes and misconceptions he was surrounded by. His love for music propelled him to combat this inevitability by creating a by-product of hip-hops progression from the old school to the new school. He writes with lyricism laced deep in meaning, channeled from a place somewhere beyond him but presented in very human way. Each song is a journey into the pursuit of finding the truth and the light.
